~HARRY'S POV~

It was the one year anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts. I could hardly believe it. Surely it hadn't been a year since I defeated Voldemort in the flesh? In order to celebrate the day I defeated Voldemort and memorialize the deaths of those who died on that day the Weasleys, Hermione, and I are hosting a party, a get together of sorts. Ginny and I will be going as a couple, Neville will be bringing Luna, and Hermione..... Well, she'll be bringing her boyfriend, Draco Malfoy. I know, it sounds crazy, right? But yes, shortly after the Battle of Hogwarts her and Ron split up, it just.. Wasn't working. So, Draco decided that he was going to profess his love for Hermione and tell her that he's "going to change" and "going to be a better person" and he "never was fully committed, or in fact, committed in any way to the dark lord". RIGHT. As if.

-At the party-

It was about time for the guests to show up, Hermione and Draco had shown up already.

"Potter." Draco greeted me, "Malfoy." I replied in return. Hermione hugged me and I swear she would not let go. I mean, we just saw each other not two weeks ago, but I let her hug me until she was finished.

The next guests to arrive were Neville and Luna, they have been going out since the Battle of Hogwarts. Neville trips on the way in, typical, but recovers smoothly and walks up to me to say "Hi Harry." I reply with "Hello Neville, how have you been?" He says,"Great, thanks, Luna and I have moved in together and it's all so wonderful." "Neville! That's fantastic! Congratulations!" "Thanks Harry"

Neville walks away with a smile glued to his face.

That's when Luna comes up to me, "Hello Harry." "Hey Luna, I heard about you and Neville getting an apartment together that's great!" I lie, I've had a major crush on Luna since fifth year, when she told me about Thestrals. "Yeah, I guess it is," Luna whispers "but I would much rather it be you I share it with."

WHAT?!

"H-huh?" I asked as if I didn't hear the most beautiful girl in the world say those amazing words "I would much rather it be you I share it with" she said. How could Luna ever like me? I must be dreaming. I pinch my arm to make sure I'm awake, I am. "Harry, don't be foolish, you've always known how I feel about you, you've just never shown much interest in me." Luna said. I have to tell her how I feel. Right now. "Luna, I-" she cuts me off "It's okay, I'm with Neville and you're with Ginny and I can't believe I ever thought you liked me, I was so stupid."

How could she not know? How could she not see that I'm completely in love with her?

"Luna, I've loved you since fifth year. I can't believe I haven't told you until now, but I want to be with you. I don't care what the consequences are. I want to be able to call you mine." Luna replies with "Y-you do?" "Yes, Luna, I do."

"Okay, but Harry, what about Ginny? What about Neville?" "You break it off with Neville, and I'll break it off with Ginny. Then we can finally be together." "Okay." Luna leaves my side.

I see Hermione and Draco in a corner talking, I start to go over there when I hear a loud cry, I'm pretty sure it's Neville, it is. Oh crap. What have I done? Neville has always been kind to me and I just stole his true love. I'm awful, but I'm still going to break it off with Ginny. I adore her, but honestly I think she is going to leave me if Hermione and Draco break up anyway, she's always had a thing for him. So, I find Ginny. She's sitting by herself, staring lustfully at Draco. Of course. "Ginny! Come here!" I say and I lead her outside to where it's just us, alone. "Hey Harry, what's up?" "Nothing really, I just need to talk to you about... Something." "Okay Harry, what is it?" I feel like I'm about to puke. I can't do this. I love Ginny Weasley. I can't do this to her. "Oh, uhm. I just w-wanted to t-tell you how much I love you." "I love you too, Harry. Are you okay? You seem.. A bit odd." "Oh, no, I'm fine. Totally." I lie. I'm not fine. What am I going to do? Luna just broke it off with Neville for me, but, I can't break it off with Ginny for her. Ginny leans in and kisses me passionately and I realize how stupid I was gonna be to let her go. "I will never leave you Ginny." I say into her mouth. "I will never leave you either Harry." She says back as we kiss.

-Later, still at the party-

Luna runs up to me after Ginny and I come back in and says "Did you do it?" I pretend I don't know what she's talking about. "Do what?" She leans in and whispers "Did you break it off with Ginny?" I reply "No, I was going to, but then I realized I am so in love with her, I don't know what I would do without her Luna. I'm so sorry." Luna starts crying and I feel so bad. She's angry now... Dumbledore's beard what have I done?

*I'm not exactly sure how I'm feeling about this. I'm going to do two POVs, maybe three, I know I will have Harry's and Hermione's, but I don't know if I will include Ron's POV. I might. Let me know what you think!*
