Fawn's

I got out of bed bright and early at six o'clock in the morning. I did my hygiene routine and got dressed.

I put on a simple blue blouse and a long flowing white skirt that went past my knees.

I wish I could dress up how girls my age do, but being in such a strict family that will never happen.

I'm not a pastor's daughter or anything. My dad and mom were really cool in fact.

I live with my Aunt Linda now. She's different.

She thinks it's a sin to wear pants. Saying that God didn't intended for women to be leaders. She is sexist against her own gender, it really baffles me.

After my parents passed away from a car accident things just got worse. I wasn't allowed to do anything relatively "manly".

I was forced to quit the girls basketball and soccer team. I couldn't ride my bike anymore. I had to quit my job, etc, etc. My aunt fortunately is a firm believer in education, so she took very good care of me which allowed me to go to school full time. Which is part of the reason I'm forcing myself to stay with her.

I have three more years left until I'm done with grad school. By that time I'll be able to get the inheritance my parents left me, and I can move out and support myself.

The only thing that keeps me from going insane is Sarah, my finance Michael's mom, her husband, and my uncle Kenny.

Sarah is the exact opposite of my aunt. Believes a woman can do whatever a man can do and ten times better.

How my aunt and Sarah get along completely baffles me. They have been friends since preschool. They must have learned to tolerate each other.

I went downstairs to start on breakfast.I made scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, and grits. I heard my aunt's loud foot steps as she walked towards the kitchen. My Auny is always wearing heels even inside the house.

"Good morning Auntie." I greeted her

"Straighten your back." was all she said

She sat down at the table. Her food was already layed in front of her, so she started to eat.

After one bite she spat it out and started chocking. I rushed over to her

"Auntie are you okay?" I asked patting her back

"No, I'm not okay. Is this the type of food you intend to feed Micheal?" she asked in a harsh tone

"I made it how you showed me too." I defend myself

"When have I ever showed you to put much salt into a meal? You can never do anything right." she yelled

She got up and threw the food in the trash.

Well this was a fail. I can never seem to please her, no matter how hard I try. I cook for a group of people. Everyone has something nice to say except for her. I've grown used to the insults.

I ate my food, then cleaned up my mess. After that I cleaned up the living room, mopped and vacuumed the floors, did the laundry, then cleaned my aunt's bed room. I finshed at around 12:30. I think I'll stop by Sarah's house. I grabbed my purse and left.

I don't understand why my Anut dislikes me so much. It seems the only person she hates more then me are my dead parents.

My aunt is a beautiful person her personality is nasty. That's why she can't keep a man. Every man she has been on a date on never came back for a second one or left in the middle of the first one.
