Taehyung cups Minhee's face in his hands and rests his forehead upon hers.

"I understand," he says in a low tone.

Rin watches silently as the two talk it out. In the end really, it wasn't Minhee's fault. She didn't know what the motive was either.

She confronted Taehyung as to why he chose to believe her, trust her. Told him not be blinded by what she meant to him. He didn't have much to say, "The only thing that clings me to hope is that she didn't use me. Didn't use the either of us. She kept her distance and watched like she was told too, dating me just seemed to happen along the way."

Of course that really didn't convince Rin but he pressed on, "Dating me would've been the perfect cover but she confessed didn't she?"
"Listen Rin, I don't know either okay? I'm just hoping. Hoping real bad that I can trust her because somewhere along the way I think I fell for her as well and you know what that feels like."

Did she know what that felt like? Of course she did.
Loving someone is trusting them completely, even when you know they have the power to completely destroy you.
You're just hoping they won't.

She swallows back to ease her arid throat. Clears it once, then twice, "right but we are not leaving the fucking country. That's ridiculous."

"At least, let's leave here. I'm not risking it further and I don't think you can take it here anyway." With that Taehyung leaves the kitchen and his stance behind. Course Rin didn't want to leave, this is the last place she saw Jungkook. What if she never sees him again?

But then again, what if all she sees is him if she stays?

Rin needn't have thought much of it.
An eviction notice soon arrived when she got home the next morning, it didn't say why or how. So it was clear her parents might coming back, she had to go again.

Part of her hated running away, but it was better that way. Least it would remind them she never wanted to face them, ever.

Taehyung starts around the kitchen and Minhee clears the living room. Rin didn't have much under her name, only having arrived with nothing but a suitcase of clothes.

One big brown box was left open in the middle of the house and they worked quick, soon piling it with a couple cups, a few frames and other trinkets that Rin had collected along the years.

She reached her room the last, it had too many things that reminded her of Jungkook. She almost wanted to leave it behind, but no. Of course she wasn't done with him, no of course not.She knew there was reason behind what happened, she'd find out, she had to.

Hauling in the last of her clothes, she wipes the beads of sweat lining her forehead as she turns to face her favourite garden out the window for the last time. She pulls open the thick navy curtains and the buttery sunlight flows in, smothering over her.

But,

But it wasn't the garden that made her heart halt. It was the yellow sticky note that hung by a sole white shoe lace.

Wait for me. I'll find you.

How ironic, her being the one who lost him.
