Vigan and Ilocos Norte

    Hello. If you wanna go in Spain but have no budget, go/head to Vigan. Instead. It is accessible by land or air via Laoag airport or go to 8 to 9 hours to bus. (To save money). But your trip and your budget is really worth it! Because that place was so historical to Philippine history, this city boasts of some pretty preserved old mansions that built up during the Spanish era. And also there is a cathedral that was built since 1500's. One of the Vigan's main attractions is the Calle Crisologo, which is an entire strip covered with  Cobble stones dating back to the 1800's. Get atound  the city via the "KALESA" or the horsedrawn carriage, and enjoy their culinary offerings such as "bagnet"( pork that is deep-fried in its own fat.) "LONGGANISA" (native sausages with a unique garlic flavor.) "Sinaglao" (a soup that contains offal and blood of cows, which has a pungent, earthy after you taste.) And "pinakbet" (vegetable dishes that is so similar to ratatouille and flavored with native fish sauce.)

Vigan is also surrounded by beautiful beaches that can relaxe you from getting tired of the trip or having tired surrounding the whole Vigan ahead. They have beaches in the province Candon, San Esteban, Santiago, (where the Santori of the north, Vitalis Villas, is located. ) Narvacan, Cabugao (Where the famous Pug-os beach is located). And Sinait.

FURTHER UP NORTH IS ILOCOS NORTE, FOUR HOURS AWAY FROM VIGAN. WHERE THE BEAUTIFUL BEACHES OF CURRIMAO AND PAGUDPOD AWAITS YOU. YOU CAN ALSO GO TO 4×4 DESERT SAFARI DRIVE IN THE LAOAG SAND DUNES, STAY OVERNIGHT AND PLAY A FEW ROUNDS OF GOLF AT THE FORT ILOCANDIA HOTEL. AND VISIT THE FAMOUS PAOAY CHURCH AND THE LAOAG BELL TOWER, WHICH IS SAID TO BE SINKING AN INCH EVERY YEAR.

HISTORY BUFFS WILL HAVE A GRAND TIME IN ILOCOS-VIGAN HAS THE BURGOS MUSEUM, AND THE SYQUIA MUSEUM WHILE LAOAG HAS THE LUNA MUSEUM, (BIRTHPLACE OF JUAN LUNA,) AND THE MALACAÑANG OF THE NORTH. (MALACAÑANG MEANS "THE HOUSE OF THE PHILIPPINE PRESIDENT.)...
