Kakshi x reader: Hiding the truth

Chapter 1

"Congratulations (F/n), your having a baby!" Lady Tsunade smiled at the diagnosis of your "mysterious" morning sickness. Your heart sunk. Of course you were happy about having a baby. You were just worried about how Kakashi would react. You'd been together two years, but weren't married. Would this force him to stay? Would he run for the hills? Would he be happy? That's all you cared for, Kakashi's happiness. Your mind was filled to the brim with the different reactions. 'This will just put a burden on him. He already has enough on his plate being an amazing shinobi as is..' At the thought you made a decision. The hidden leaf couldn't afford to have such a skilled shinobi distracted with a child, you being a shinobi yourself weren't as important as Kakashi. You were skilled, but not Kakashi skilled.
"Lady Tsunade, could you relay a message to Kakashi for me" You stood up to leave. The hokage nodded. Your decision you admit was not the best option in your opinion, but it was best for Kakashi not to know.
You faced lady Tsunade tears threatening to fall. "Tell him that I-I never want to see him again." Tsunade had an expression of shock written over her face. "(F/n)! What's this about?" You brushed a stray (h/c) piece of hair out of your face.
"This child. Our child. Will only distract Kakashi from his duties as a leaf shinobi. I'm not doubting his skills to protect the village in anyway. It's just best we don't tell him about this. He's the "eternal bachelor" after all." A small smile grazed your lips.
"Your a shinobi too (f/n)." She pointed to the leaf headband resting on the top of your head.
"I know. I can handle it just fine." You (e/c) eyes softened. Tsunade sighed. "Are you sure this is what you want?"
You turned around just in time to hide the tears that had finally decided to fall. "I'm sure." With that you left the Hokages office and headed home.
