Chapter 4 - Left Alone

Little Frances waited for her parents to come back. She is tired of standing so she look for a bench to sit. She is now wondering why her parents is taking too long. And any minute she is feeling afraid and wants to cry. But she remember her parents said that she needs to be strong.

Frances Pov :
She keeps on staring at every people who walks and people are so busy with their doings.

"Mommmii.. Daddiii.. where are you now?" she said.

She waited for many hours. Now its getting late and her parents still not coming. She feels hungry so she check her bag. She saw that there are foods inside her bag so she take it out and eat and there is also a mineral bottle for her. Also some necessary needs for her. But she saw something inside her bag. It is a flashdrive. She is thinking what could that be. But she ignore it and put it inside her bag again.

She did not know that flashdrive is the one that her father stole from Mr. Sy. It has some secrets hidden in it. She keeps on eating and when she touch her pocket she something inside in it. It is a note. She read the note. The tears run down from her face and her body is shaking.

The note state: "Baby this is your mommii. You are smart baby and strong. Me and your daddii are so proud of you. We are sorry baby we can't be with you anymore we need to leave you at the station because it's for your own protection. I know you are still young and don't understand some things that is happening and why we leave you. You will understand everything when you grow up. But for now you have to be strong baby, it's for your own self. Please baby be strong this is our last request for you. And baby I left some money inside your bag and I know you already open it and you saw what's inside in it. Baby there is a flashdrive inside your bag please baby keep it for now. Don't loose it. Always put it in your side. It is has some important things inside. Please keep it. And when you grow up you need to open it. Baby remember that mommii and daddii loves you very much. We are so sorry baby. Please be safe baby and take care of yourself always. Goodbye."

Little Frances is crying and she keep the note again. She has a lot of questions right now inside her head. And what would she do now that she is all alone. Thinking this she cry too much. She forgot that she is eating and hungry. She stop on eating and just keep on crying. Until someone she her. And went to her. It is an old woman with white hair.

Old woman Pov :
She looks at the small girl at the bench that keeps on crying she is wondering what is wrong and why she is alone so she went to her and ask her.

"Child why are you crying?" she said.
"Nothing." little Frances said.

She sit beside her and touch her back so she will stop crying.

"You know you can tell me anything." she said.

Little Frances look at the old woman and she saw that she is smiling at her and also worry is on her face. She knows that maybe the old woman is caring for her so she stops on crying and face the old woman.

"I am alone." little Frances said.
"Why? May I know why you are alone and where are your parents?" she said.
"I don't know." little Frances said.

The old woman is thinking maybe that the little child parents leave her here alone at the station. Thinking that she pity the child. She feel that the child is shaking.

"Child how long you are staying here at the station?" old woman said.
"I don't count I think I already stay here for long hours already." little Frances said.
"Oh god.. Are you hungry child?" old woman said.
"I am not hungry anymore." little Frances said.

The old woman is thinking what will happen to the child if she will leave now so she asks one thing to her and she will be thankful if she can take her to a safe place.

"Child, it's already late you know that?" old woman said.
"I know that. But I want to wait for my parents to come back." little Frances said.
"I will take care of you for now child, and I promise that I will bring you back to your parents when I got contact of them. I am not a bad person child. You can decide if you want to come with me. If you don't want we can stay here together." old woman said.

Little Frances look at the old woman. She looks tired and she is worrying for her health too. She don't want that the old woman will get sick so agreed to the old woman.

"Ok i will come with you for now. But promise me when you contact my parents you will tell me and bring me back to them ok?" little Frances said.
"I promise you child. As soon I got contact them I will bring you back to them. So are we going now child?" old woman said.
"Ok. And thank you." little Frances said.
"Your welcome child." old woman said

The old woman smile at her and little Frances smile at her too. She holds little Frances hand.

"What's your name child?" old woman said.
"Frances Herbert." little Frances said.
"You have a beautiful name Frances and also beautiful." old woman said.

They go out from the station and they hold hands together. It is dark outside.

They both keep on walking together.

"Frances.. Don't worry everything is gonna be alright." old woman said.

The old woman smile at her. And she smile back at her too.
