Hey guys! This plot contains language. There is a word that if I I heard it on the street, I would kick the ASS of the one who said it. This is just in use for the context of the story, and is unacceptable in the comments. I will report you, and the Gods of Wattpad will demolish your hopes and dreams. To the writin!

Jay peered into the mirror as he touched his face. The deep purple bruise was surrounded with a halo of yellow just above his eye. Great. This one would be harder to cover. But he had to do it, or else the others would find out, and he wouldn't be able to bear it if that happened. Especially if it was Cole. Jay's eyes began to cloud over with tears. Why don't I just do it now, he thought in despair. No one cares about me. I am a worthless fag. I'll never be good enough. I can't.
"Hey Jay! You're taking forever!" Cole's voice reverberated around the small bathroom through the door. "Hurry up!"
Oh damn. If Cole saw him... Jay couldn't let that happen. Thinking quickly, he wrapped a towel around his head and fixed it so it would obscure his eye. There, perfect. "Cole, do you mind? I'm getting out of the shower!"
"Sorry, dude." Jay shuffled around to make it seem like he was doing something, and opened the door to find an impatient Cole standing there. "What were you doing in here?"
"Showering, like I told you."
"No, you weren't."
"Yes, I-"
"Don't. You know you weren't. The shower would be wet," Cole pulled back the curtain to show off a dry shower. "The air would be steamed up. I know you like your showers hot. And I would've heard your awful singing from a mile away."
Dammit. Jay knew he shouldn't have shown Cole Sherlock. "What was I doing in here, then, Mr. Detective. I would really like to know."
"That's what I'm asking you! But I think that the answer is under... HERE!"
"Cole, don't-" But it was too late.
Cole gaped at Jay's goose egg. "Jay, what did you do to your face?"
"Nothing."
"That doesn't really look like nothing."
"This is why I didn't want to tell you."
"Tell me what?" Cole's eyes softened as they looked into Jay's. "You can tell be anything. We're best friends, remember?"
Jay blushed. "Yeah, about that," He took a deep breath. "Cole I have a secret. A secret that made people want to do this to me. I can't change it, and sometimes I hate myself for it. But I think that it's ok, and I hope you will, too.
"Cole, I'm gay."
Cole blinked. "Really?"
"Really, really."
"Are you sure? Sorry, dumb question. This is great!"
"It is?"
"Of course it is! Now I have another guy to talk about guys with!"
Jay's heart soared. "You're gay, too?"
"Not quite. I'm bi."
That made sense to Jay.
"I'm so glad that you told me! You're so brave," Cole beamed at Jay, but then his face fell. "So the bruise-"
"Bruises," Jay reluctantly pulled up his shirt to show him the others. "Apparently there are a lot of homophobic ghosts out there."
Cole's face contorted with rage. "Something tells me a good amount of metaphysical ass will be kicked soon."
Cole hugged Jay. Jay gasped. Cole was so soft, and he smelled so nice. He shook off the thought.
"I'm so sorry you had to deal with that." Cole held him closer as he whispered, "It will never happen again."
"Promise?"
"Promise."
