Out of Breath- Kai/Lloyd

  I sighed. It had been a long day. The city had needed to be saved AGAIN, and, of course, I was there to help. What was it with people and getting into peril, anyways? It didn't matter; as the Green Ninja, it's my duty to watch over the city, yadda yadda yadda. But it's just so tiring! I just need some rest, I think to myself as I approach the Bounty. That's all.
  "Hey Lloyd!" Kai called from the deck. "Hey everyone, Lloyd's back!"
  "In the flesh." I willed my dragon to dissipate as I landed on the Bounty. "What's shakin?"
  Oh man. That sounded so lame. I just can't help being weird around Kai. He's just so.. Kai. He's so confident, and sweet, and not to mention really hot. I know that I'll never have a shot with him. There's no way in hell that he'll like my gay ass back. But the thought of him always makes my throat catch, makes me breathe a little harder...
  "Umm, Lloyd? You feeling ok? You look a little pale." 
  I shook it off. "Yeah, Kai, I'm fine. What's up?" Kai arched his brow, but said nothing.
  Jay grinned at me. "We're about to set up for-"
  "Shut it, Motormouth!" Cole interrupted. "Jesus, you ask a guy to keep one thing under wraps.."
  "Sorry, Dirt Clod, but I get excited. Am I not allowed to get excited?!?"
  "Shut it, both of you! Now can you please go work on THE THING? I need to talk to Lloyd a minute."
  "Sure thing, Kai. Come on, Zaptrap, before you nearly spoil any more.. ahem.. things." Cole led Jay off, leaving me with Kai. Alone.
  "Ok, Lloyd, here's the plan. First, we'll.." But I wasn't listening. All I could focus on was my breathing. I was really tired. And now kind of lightheaded..
  "Lloyd.."
  It was getting harder to breathe. I was breathing harder and harder, but I couldn't get enough air...
"Lloyd.."
  My breaths were turning into gasps. I was starting to panic. My inhaler, where was my inhaler..
  "LLOYD! Oh my god, are you ok?"
  "P-please... help...."
  "Oh my god.... HEY! LLOYD NEEDS HELP!"
  My hands shook. I began to sway. My vision swam. "M-my... inhaler..."
  "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god."
  Everything began to darken. This can't be how it ends...
  Kai's panicked face was the last thing I saw before I collapsed.
