Chapter 3

*6 years later*

As another school picture day came to end, Jade couldn't help but smile at the day Leigh, Jesy, and her ate her favorite lunches until they couldn't feel their stomach anymore. Sometimes at school Jesy and Leigh eat with Katherine and not me but it's cool because I've gotten to know Katherine and we've made her part of the group. Besides, I like to go to the library from time to time to read up on a forgotten country called Berznovia that we learned about in history class. I usually try to tell the girls every morning we walk to school but they always get annoyed by my extra knowledge.

I check outside and see how rainy and muddy it is. When the weather is that bad I know my whole day is usually going to be bad until the moment I fall asleep. I made sure I got dressed correctly and headed for the corner where I meet the girls every morning to walk to school with. I'm usually the first one there because my house is the closest, but after 15 minutes I got worried when neither Leigh, Jesy, or Katherine didn't answer my texts. I was going to be late to school so I started walking on my own even though I felt upset. The dark clouds made the 20 minute walk seem like it was never going to end. It was hard to see more than a few feet in front of me but I swear I could see a few things of red floating in the air. I kept my head down thinking I didn't want to make eye contact with random people until I heard a loud and husky voice.

"Hey watch where you're going."

I recognized that voice oh too well. Ew was all I could think.

"Well well boys, look who we have here. It's Jade Whorewall."

I can't pretend that didn't hurt, but I had no clue why he even said that.

"Why the hell did you say that Todd?"

"Look if I were I would shut the fuck up. I also bet you are wondering where your little crew is."

"Uh yeah I guess you can say that."

"We'll look hear Whorewall, stay the fuck away from Katherine. I know for a fact she won't be going anywhere near you. I don't think those weirdos Jesy and Leigh will be either so help you god if I see you or hear you tried to contact them you're done."

"That's crazy, they're my best friends, like my sisters. They will talk to me whether you like it or not!"

"Sister? I don't think so. After what Katherine told me today, no way. I don't know how stupid you are but Katherine has a little thing for you and she has for a few years. I got suspicious once you two started having sleepovers but I let it go after she told me you had no idea about her feelings. Well she dumped me last night for you! For a stupid ugly bitch like you. So now you're going to feel what I feel. You better keep your mouth shut or else I can promise this will only get worse for you. You'll be an even bigger loser with no friends."

With the last words I saw Todd's hand close to myself and I found myself on the ground.

"Let that be a warning Whorewall."

I took a lot of strength to get up after Todd's punch. That bruise will take a lot of explanation with my mother. I still couldn't understand what happened. Have I really lost all my friends?

I was headed for the bathroom when I heard three familiar voices. They all stopped and stared at me with no words.

They started to turn their backs. "Leigh?" I whispered pathetically. "Jesy, Katherine? Please?" Nothing. They just continued walking down the hallway leaving me all dirty and hurt.

I guess the word spread pretty quick because for the rest of the day no one spoke to me. I just kept getting the usual dirty looks. I don't know what Todd told everyone but I'm pretty sure he ruined the rest of high school days. I didn't even bother going to the lunch room because I would probably get food dumped on me. The library never fails me. The library was my only friend. She wasn't that much older than me so she let me call her by her first name Tulisa. Most people didn't go to the library during lunch hours so we would always sing together and she would bring me chocolates from time to time. I spent extra time looking at Berznovia books and got interested in the supernatural area. The country is believe to be modern day Austria because before the year 1509 it was just vampires and very few humans but the vampire population was killed off. I couldn't help but pay close attention to the pages about vampire strength and how they use it to find their mate. I couldn't help but think how cool it would be to have a define soulmate, to not be hated or ignored. I can't help but think of the worst that all this hate won't end until I graduate.

I decided to take the long way to my history class since I left the library a little early but I wish I didn't. The three girls that I thought I could count on, the girls I thought were my sisters and had my back always were standing right in front of me. I kept my head down and walked passed them so they couldn't see my tears when all of a sudden they grabbed me and dragged me to the janitors closet.

"Look if you're going to hit me like Todd just get it over with, I don't want to be late."

"What, Todd hit you"? Katherine asked surprised.

"Holy shit look at her face! That asshole hit really did hit her!" Jesy screamed out.

"Why are you guys acting like this?? Is this some kind of sick joke?"

"Jade calm down," Leigh said.

"Give us 5 minutes. You really need to hear this."

"Ok girls I'm listening."

"I'll tell it all from the beginning. Katherine told me then Jesy she was going to tell you how she feels which we thought was great. She had to get Todd out of the way so she did it and told him the reason. He was pissed but she had no idea he was going to harm you. He went to her house last night and threatened her that if you acted on your feelings and kept contact with you that she would tell her family that she has feelings for a girl because he knows that they're homophobic and would kick her out of the house. He overheard Katherine calling us on skype outside he bedroom window telling us what happened so when he me and Jesy he threatened to have Jordan fired from his dad's company and Jordan needs to money really bad for his family and I couldn't let that happen. He told Jesy he would upload that video of her from the 7th grade when Jeremy Downs fake dated her for a bet and told her but nobody at school knows that happened and Jesy gets enough hate so she gave in. I'm really sorry Jade, he has way too much power over us".

"You know if you had given me a heads up we could've worked together. Do you know people keep pulling my hair and calling me Whorewall because of him? Something you could've pretended. Katherine I'm sorry but I'm not sure if I can return the feelings. I can't say I forgive you but I understand your situation. As for you two, don't try to talk to me again. Fuck you both. "

They called my name as I ran away but I didn't care. I'll be all alone for the next two years and I'm going to have to get used to being called names and getting hit.

*ok sorry for the long update wait. Also I know this doesn't seem Jerrie-ish yet but Perrie comes into the story in the next chapter. This chapter was just needed to set up other things that will be in the story later on which by the way it was hard writing jade being called whorewall and having Leigh and Jesy betray her. *
