I counted the money a girl gave me and handed back some change left over.
"Here's your ticket to 'A Wrinkle in Time' enjoy." I said smiling.

In walked a group of teenagers. I recognized them as the cast of zombies and they had a couple non cast members. Then I saw the kid who played zed, Milo Manheim. I always thought he was the cutest of the bunch. He brought holiday with him great.
"Hi, welcome to canary creek cinemas, what movie do you want to see?" I asked the guy who played Bucky.
Trevor turned around and counted everyone who was there.
"10 tickets to the new Jumanji movie."
He said.
"Ok great. That'll be $40." I replyed.
"We're are paying separately." Trevor explained.
I nodded as in agreeing. He set his money down and then everyone else did. It got to milo and my face grew red. Holiday payed and waited in line to get popcorn.
"Here's my $4. I do have a question." Milo said.
"Yeah what?" I said.
"Is it hard working at the movie theater?"
"It can be I mean only if someone drops their popcorn. I hate the smell of popcorn but I can eat it if it doesn't have much butter on it. Why did I just tell you that." I said facepalming my forehead.
"I'm the same way." He laughs, "it's just holi likes a lot of butter on hers."
I looked over at her and I saw her glaring at me. She grabbed her popcorn and purposely dropped it.
"My bad." I saw her say.
"Y/n come over and pick up the popcorn." A fellow worker (we'll name him bob) said.
"K bob!" I yelled across the theater. "I got to go." I explained. He said ok.
I walked over with Milo. "Can I have another popcorn bucket?" Holi asked.
"I'm holding it this time." Milo said sternly.
"I know you did that on purpose. I'm done with you making scenes just because your jelly I'm talking to another girl." He whispered to her but I could hear him.
Dang I thought. That just burned her. I jumped up and yelled "ohhhh he burnt you so bad ohhhhh she needs some milk!" But I did that all in my head. I finished picking the popcorn up and took off my gloves.
"Enjoy your movie." I told them. Then I walked to the trash can and threw the gloves away.
I walked back to the ticket area and sat in a chair waiting for someone to get a ticket. Then I noticed a slip of paper.
It read:
"Dear girl who I was talking to. If holi is about or already made a scene when you see this, then I'm sorry. I hope we could be friends bc you seem cool. Anyways yeah I was writing this real quick when you bent down to find more tickets. Anyways have fun."
It contained his number on the back and a smiling face on the front.
I smiled.

the end.
