Ilyu POV

My eyes open as I stare up at a wooden ceiling. It's been, nearly a week now, since I passed out after the entrance exams. I have no idea how long it takes for the letters to arrive.

I also had no idea if they just didn't give you a letter if you didn't get in. I was honestly scared, that my dream to become a hero, was going to be crushed by some ink on some paper. It was worrying. I sigh and get up, my feet hitting my carpet with a soft thud. I look around my room.

I sit on the side of my bed and look to my left. My door into the rest of myself is on the other side of the room, in line with my bed, and hanging on the back of it is my pikachu onesie. I look more left and see bean bags with a couple of bookshelves in the farthest corner, and plushies stacking up a bit beside them. To the right of my door I see my desk, with its 'organised mess' on top of it. I smile a bit when I see the drawings start to collect around my desks, the canvases varying in size.

They aren't exactly the best, and a lot are of sceneary, but that's because I suck at human anatomy. I continue to look around till i spot my easel, sitting in the corner of the room beside my bedside table. Between my desk and easel, there's my window where I can look outside and clearly see he massive playing field, a couple of back gardens away from me, and the city further behind that.

I sigh as I look back at my most recent drawing. It was actually a decent looking version of my mum. At the moment it was mostly just sketched out pencil lines and abit of paint as her skin. Of course I was taking my time with it, as I didn't want to ruin something that means quite a bit to me. And I want to show my mum I can be just as good of a painter as she is.

My mum is a professional artist, though when she was young she was caught a couple of times by the police for petty theft. She was an amazing graffiti artist when she was around my age, until she went to a proper art academy and made her favourite hobby her proper job.

My dad, well, he is actually a baker. He makes the most aromatic bread and savoury stuff like that. His shop isn't too well known but it does cover rent so we are really happy, my mum does get most of the money tho, so they have little arguments about it sometime. But weird in all honesty.

I roll to the other side of my bed and open my drawers, taking out some black sweats and I camo tank top. I open my door and walk down the stairs, to be greeted by my mum and dad, with kaka, all sitting round the coffee table in the living room. "Uh..mum.dad... What is going on? I hope it isn't the talk again, you got have already told me two times."

They turn around with wide grins on their faces."Ilyu... Get Iza quickly. Quick!" She shooed me out quickly smiling brightly. I jump up the stairs two at a time and walk down to the opposite end of the corridor from my room, I knock three times.

"Iza? Wake up sleepy badger. You aren't the pet anymore you gotta come downstairs. Mum and dad are waiting in the living room." I hear a groan in response, and a muffled excuse. "But I have terrible bed head!" I give her door a poker face. "You don't have hair." She gives a louder groan, giving a few seconds of silence before opening the door giving me a tired look. "No but I do have short fur."

I give her a dead pan look and let her walk past me down the stairs first! Making sure she doesn't sneak back into her room. Iza isn't technically my sister. In all honesty she was my birthday present for my first birthday. She WAS our pet badger, odd I know, but as a child I wanted a weird let, plus I love badgers.

So basically, I had manifested my quirk when I was four, and messed up my mums phone, whilst the following night my parents heard me squealing, seeing a small blue and orange portal on my floor and ceiling, and me falling through them constantly. But Iza also manifested a quirk. Of course it is really rare for an animal to gain a quirk, so when my parents started to see Iza walk like a human, have a massive growth spurt, and then later on read me stories and start to actually gain more human like features, she would come to school with me where me and my friends would teach her social skills. She has always been my best friend, but I can't give her my hugs anymore, she's afraid her 'hair' will be messed up, it won't, because unlike four year old me, I can't put cake batter in her fur anymore by accident.

We both walk downstairs and I finally get to see what is on the coffee table. I frown hard as I wonder why there re two identical letters. Maybe it's something about mine and Iza's bank account? All I know is that it must be something important?

I sit down on the sofa and Iza lays across a single chair. We both look at our parents who are still smiling like weirdos. "Seriously mum and dad, what's going on?" I question them no they look at each other then turn to us, with glistening eyes."it's your letters... From UA!" She squeals and comes up to me and Iza and squeezes the life out of us whilst our dad just comes and joins the group hug. "No matter what happens, you will always be the most amazing daughters, and I'm proud to call you both that." My dad looks at Iza, to make sure she knows. Sometimes she thinks she is still just the house pet, but we always let her know she is part of us, more so now that she is classed as my sister.

They let us both go,and me and Iza both dash to grab our letters from the table. I grab the top one and Iza grabs the bottom one. I turn it over to see it is addressed to Iza, instead of me. "Wrong one." I quickly Sep the, and she shouts a small hey. I flash a small smile but then turn back to my letter. The doubt beginning to set in again."I'm going to my room." I rush upstairs and slm my door behind me, unintentionally.

My room is filled with silence as I walk over to my desk and move aside sheets of paper, with scribbles for my next drawing designs on them, a random lists of games that I would like to play, of course multiplayer for me and Iza, and some school homework.

I drop the letter in the middle of my desk and sit myself down in my seat, elbows on the desk, holding onto the side of my head lightly. "She is just really worried. She will never say it, but she doesn't want us to see her upset. She got that from you, know, keeping her feelings bottled up till she can't no longer." I hear my dad say from downstairs.
I sigh, he isn't wrong.

I decide to just rip open mine. And that I do, leaving a little silver thing to hit me in the middle of my head. "Ow!" I rub my forehead and stare at the silver thing in my desk. "Hello Ilyu Kurama! I, midnight, am proudly saying that you! Have passed with 62 villain points, and 10 rescue points! I am happy to say that you will be in Class 1-A! Though the guy you saved, you know the jerk? Yeah he is in the class below you, as what he did wasn't hero like at all. Anyway! Your hero costume sheet is in the letter, please fill that in and send to the address listed inside the letter before school starts up! Can't wait to see you there!"

I stare in shock at the hero, before the hologram like thing shuts off. "I...I got in? I...I need to train, hard... Maybe if Iza gets in aswell we can go-" my door breaks off its hinges as Iza storms into the room, tears in her eyes as sobs come out of her mouth.

"I-Iza! Oh my god come here!"we run into each other and she clings onto me for dear life. "I... I.." She can't speak through her tears. "Iza...what did your letter say?"

It wasn't going to be a cliffhanger till I started writing the last sentance. Have fun :3
