I was standing on the platform 9 3/4, our house elf Bane accompanied me. Valentina my mother , couldn't go with me because she is in mission, I'm not sure what it means but whatever. As time goes by, I felt an overwhelming anxiety. Even if I am nothing like my father, I know that students will judge me according to my father's reputation so I can't let them know who I am. That's why mother changed my surname. I am now Lesya Alicante, daughter of pureblooded wizards.
I've learned this summer that Severus Snape is the new Headmaster this year, it is bothering me because he is a Death Eater and he killed Dumbledore, the most powerful wizard of all time. I must be very careful with him because if he finds out my true identity, he will bring me to You-Know-Who. I'm not scared of him but I don't want to put my mother in danger.
I thanked Bane and got on the train. I was heavy hearted when I saw all of the parents on the platform waving goodbye to their children. I bounced back and made my way to find a compartment but they were all full. Panic was starting to get me when I finally found a seat with first years. I
I sat down, my trunk on my knees and I looked at my feet. I was hoping that the first years continue their conversation but as soon as I sat they stopped talking and stared at me. I closed my eyes, trying to avoid the questions that they will probably ask me in a few seconds.
"Why are you alone?" asked a curly-haired boy. I didn't answer, pretending to be asleep till we arrived. I didn't need to be noticed the first day.

When we arrived, I was in awe by the beauty of the castle, Durmstrang was a castle too but not as impressive as Hogwarts. I was still dazzled when Hagrid led us to the Great Hall. I knew the castle a bit because I spent my holidays finding out informations about the place, the different houses. I was get out of my thoughts by the head of the Gryffindor's house who was talking to me : « Mrs Alicante, please enter the Great Hall, you will be the first sorted. »
The wooden doors opened. My gait was uncertain at first but then it became confident and lightly. I was staring at the Sorting Hat at the end of the alley, feeling the looks and hearing the students whispering about me. I made an eye contact with Snape, I didn't look away instead I kept looking at him with a deadly glance. Severus was once an acquaintance of my father, he has always had terrible tastes in friends. I stopped at the end of the alley, fixing my long brown hair in a ponytail.
Snape began the traditional speech and introduced the new members of the teaching staff. Unfortunately, the Carrows are teachers this year, Amycus is the Dark Arts teacher and Alecto looks after the Muggle Studies, a new subject which is at the moment unknown of all students. I assume it will be awful.
I looked around and realised that the first years were only a few steps away from me, they were only a few because the parents were probably terrified to send their children to Death Eaters.

« Lesya Alicante! »
McGonagall was standing near the Sorting Har and looked at me waiting for me to come. I stepped forward praying not to be in Slytherin, the house of the dark wizards. I sat and the Sorting Hat began to talk.
« Hm Lesya, it's a very difficult choice to make, you are as brave as a Gryffindor, loyal and modest like a Hufflepuff... but I also see that you are ambitious and cunning, you could accomplish great things in Slytherin and also surpass your limits... but i can read your mind and I realise that you don't want to go there ... Why that ? Is that because...? Oh I see... so it's HUFFLEPUFF! »
I felt relieved, a smile almost appeared while all of the Hufflepuff were cheering and screaming. I sat down and was welcomed by Oliver Rivers, Leanne Hallberry and Rebekah Diggory.
