"I wish you were here." I look at the picture of me and my mom together at my first pagent. She would have loved to see me in a dress like this, With my hair like this. She would be so proud of me.
"And im sure she would have loved to be here." I turn around to see Uncle John standing in the door. "She would be so proud of you right now. She loved you so much, You know she won her year. Ran around the whole town screaming about it with your father right by her." I start crying totally forgetting about my makeup. I feel a pair of arms wrap around me holding me close.
"I miss her so much."
"I know, But right now isnt the time for you to be sad. Right now is a time to make her proud you need to wipe your tears fix your makeup and get ready to go down there and win. Do it for her." He sounds just like Nic witch means hes right.
"Yea your right." I wipe my tear getting a cleansing wipe out its pack knowing im going to have to start over with my makeup.
"Great ill see you downstairs." He walks out the door closing it behind him when my phone rings. I pick it up not taking my eyes off the miror, I answer the phone without looking.
"Hello."
"Hello love." God damn it this man always makes me smile.
"Hi Nic."
"So hows the Pageant going?"
"Well 1 dress mess up. 1 emotional break down and 2 makeup wipes in the trash later and im still very nervous."

I hang up after i finished my makeup. Looking at my self in the mirror for about 5 more minutes i get up and head down the hall to Tyler's room. I told Care everything while im living at her house and she told me the only way to move on was to forgive him, Walking up to his door i hear weird noises. Putting my ear to the door i her moaning. Is he really having sex with some random girl right now they're about to start calling names down and hes not even ready. Im screwed whos going to walk me down and dance with me. Ill just have to roll with the punches. Walking to the line up getting behind elena in front of Caroline.
"Hey, I dont see Tyler down there where is he?"
"Hes in his room having sex with some bimbo probably Vicki."

"Thank you so much." I whisper lowly knowing he can hear me
"Your welcome." Hard parts over now just the dance. We start to waltz then break out into the slow dance gliding around gracefully, Till the end of the song.
"Thank you all for coming lets give a round of applause to The Miss Mystic Falls court and there lovely escorts.-"
Leaning over to Caroline i whisper. "Half the girls here are escorts." She giggles lowly while trying to stay focused.
"Now for Miss Mystic Falls Queen..................... Oh My God for the first time in history theres a tie............ The Miss Mystic Falls Queens Are Alaina Gilbert and Caroline forbes. I scream covering my mouth and hugging Care.I start crying half of joy and half sadness. I did it i made her proud. We pull apart looking at each other threw tears.
"We did it. Your mom would be so proud." We hug one more time before walking on stage and being crowned.
I did it. I won. I made her proud. I just wish Nic was here. Walking off stage i head to the bathroom to call Nic when i see stefan
"Hey Stefan."
"Hey Miss Mystic Falls Queen #1" I laugh lowly
"Thank you, Thank you." I bow but when i try to go back up i black out fading into the dark, Wishing that Nic was here to save me.
