HarryI woke up the next morning rather early. I got out of bed, successfully not waking Louis up in the process, and headed to the kitchen. I poured myself a glass and scarfed down every drop of blood remaining. This is how a lot of mornings have been lately. Although, I can control myself much better now. It's been getting easier. Which is a good thing, since today is the day I've been dreading since I became a vampire. It's the day Niall forgets who I am.
Niall is my only friend, however now that I have Louis I won't be so lonely without him (not that I'd prefer a life without him). Unfortunately for Niall, I am his only friend too, and he really won't have anyone else once he forgets about me. Niall is super outgoing and bubbly, he needs someone to talk to. If he forgets he ever had someone in the first place, who knows how that will affect him. He could change drastically.
Or he could just find another friend.
Yeah right, he would've already done that if he could.
But he didn't want to when he had you.
My inner argument with myself was interrupted when there was a knock at the door. I answered it, already knowing it would be Liam. He smiled at me and made his way inside when I stepped out of the way for him. "Don't you have other things to do then just come here? Not to be rude," I said, mumbling the last part. Liam scoffed, "you really think if I did I would be here?" How ironic, Liam also only has one friend. Or two if you count me?
"Sorry to burst your bubble Payno, but we've got stuff to do today," I said. "Like what?" Liam asked. He's always super curious and in other people's business. That may be the reason I like him, and hate him. Oh who am I kidding, I don't hate Liam. I do enjoy sassing him though.
"It's confidential."
"Doubt it."
"Well you can't come."
"Why? You guys gonna fu-"
That's when Louis walked out, his yawn interrupting whatever Liam failed to finish. Thank god. He kissed my cheek and wished me a good morning. I smiled back at him. Liam cooed at the two of us, which only made me glare back at him. "I'm gonna jump in the shower then we'll leave," Louis said. I nodded, mentally making a note to change out of my pajamas before we go. Louis walked away, and Liam smirked at me. "So I'm right aren't I?" He asked. I raised an eyebrow, "about?"
"You know."
I rolled my eyes, "you're ridiculous. That's the last thing I'm thinking about right now. We actually have something personal to take care of."
"Personal meaning that friend of yours."
I froze. How does he know? Did Louis tell him? My eyes grew angry, and as a clenched my fists I could feel my eyes turning. Liam took notice in this. "Woah woah calm down, Harry. I didn't mean to-"
"You already made it worse."
"The reason I brought it up is because Louis mentioned how close you guys were. I didn't know you guys were compelling him today. I'm sorry. I know it's hard losing a friend."
"Yeah and how would you know?"
"Oh cmon Harry, I wasn't born like this. I had a life before I died. I had friends. One in particular it was really hard to say goodbye to."
