I literally had no idea what was going on with my boyfriend. He woke up early, which pretty bothered me, because he had to go do something in the middle of the night.
It's 8:00 AM, and he wakes me up again. I was about to complain, but everywhere in my room was decorated with little hearts and big hearts.
"Maverick, what's going on?" I asked.
"You'll see." He responded. Maverick was always full of surprises. Every date he said "You'll see," and give me the best date of my life. Maverick gets out of the room.. AGAIN! What is up with him today?
He finally returns with his hands behind his back. I hope he's not trying to peacefully break up with me. He bends on one knee, and... oh no. Here it comes. The Proposal.
He opens the little teal box, and there's a diamond ring. It had a bunch of other jewels, but the only unique thing there was the diamond. It felt like Maverick I was a special girl.
"Skai, you've been the best thing that has ever happened in my life. Will you marry me?" He asked. I couldn't say anything. My jaw just dropped. And then, tears just started coming out. I felt like the happiest person alive. These tears were T.O.J. Tears of joy.
"Yes." I said. Maverick slipped the ring on my finger and kissed my cheek. I felt young again, even if my story just happened 12 years ago. After the kiss, the Cats and Drake came in, clapping for me.
"Congrats." they all said.
"Aww, thanks guys!" I said happily.
