This year has been the worst. It can't get any worse. After what Kody did, I wish I could just disappear into a little ball of light. I didn't just want to leave to a resort all summer, but from this universe forever. I guess the summer at my dad's resort would have to do.

Kody was the best guy ever. Until that...

"Maddy, you can't run from your problems. Kody was the one who used you, he's graduating next year, this summer is your chance to get a new boyfriend and rub it in his face all that he's missing before he leaves. Plus, you'll be leaving me to go to camp by myself." My best friend Lindsey pouts while sitting on the foot of my bed.

"Which suit?" I question holding up a green and yellow one piece and a red striped bikini, ignoring her comment. "And it's problem, not problems. I've been facing him this whole year. Maybe running away is what I need right now. Screw it, I'll just bring both." I say tossing both swim suits into my already cramped suit case.

I'll be spending the entire summer at my dad's resort. After my tragic love story, I'm reading for a get away. Kody was a senior at our school, always whooing the girls and stole my heart. More like carved it out and threw it away. After he got what he wanted, he just tossed me aside. I'd kissed him, and more. So much more, only it mean't nothing to him. His actions were empty. I was still getting over him. This get away was just what I needed.

"You know, you could always ditch camp and come with me right? I'm sure dad would like to accomodate us both." I suggest. Lindsey looks at me in disbelief.

"Yeah, funny Maddy." Her voice laced with sarcasm.

"It's always a possiblity." I shrug and turn back to packing my suitcase till the max. Hopefully it's not too heavy.

"We've gone to summer camp together every year since we were 4, and now you're just ditching the tradition. I'm taking some offense here." She mockingly puts her hand over her chest. I throw a pair of my ripped jean shorts at her and they land on her head. She throws them right back.

"I'm going to miss you this summer you know. You should just come with me!" I plead.

"You know I can't." She pouts again.

"I know." I mumble, "You have to call to keep me posted."

"You too missy."

"Sure sure. Now would you get off your pretty little dainty butt and come help me close this suitcase?" I sass her. We stare at eachother a moment longer and burst out laughing. She gets up and comes over, sitting on my suitcase to squish everything together. How in the world am I going to be bring this back?

Authour's note: I've decided to do three books, I'm hoping at least one or more each week. Thanks so much for the support guys! I hope you like it! Xx <3
