Chapter 5

       Eddie's POV

        I woke up and last I remember, Richie fell asleep with me. But he was gone. (Stupid auto correct keeps messing me up lol) "Richie!?" I yelled as I looked at the stairs and front door. "We're not playing hide and seek, dip$hit!!" I cried out. (Heh quotes) I hopped off the couch and ran to the phone on my wall. I put in Richie's cell phone number. It rang a few times and surprisingly somebody picked up. "Hello?" A familiar voice said. "Where are you dip$hit!?" I screamed at Richie. I hate him..... Yet I love him. "Calm down Eds! I'm out with Bev! Didn't you see my note!?" He asked. "What note!?" I replied. I was pretty angry now but had no clue why. "Eds... Calm down. There's a note where I was sitting--" I interrupted him. "Richie..." I said. "Yes?" He says in a softer tone, the same one as me. "Do you still...." Tears formed in my eyes and my voice more shaky. "Do you s-s-still love m-me....?" I asked, still in a shaky, almost about to cry, sorta voice. "Of course eds! I'll always love you!" Richie replied. "Then why'd you leave me to hang out with Beverly?" I said in a super soft tone. "I'll explain when I get home. I ditched you to hang out with Bev, now I'm ditching Bev for you." You could hear the smile in his voice. "Love you! Bye!" I hung up. I ran to the bathroom, locked the site and cried into my knees. I cried and cried, and I heard since faint calls and the front door open. I didn't care. I continued crying. "Eddie!?" Richie knocked on the bathroom door. I didn't reply. "Why are you crying!?" Richie stopped knocking but I can tell he sat down with his back against the door. "You..... Left...... Me...." I cried more. "Eds!! Open the door please!" Richie begged. I unlocked the door and continued crying in my knees. Richie sat by my side and instantly pulling me into a warm embrace. I hugged back, tighter than usual and I felt safe that very moment. "I love you....." I mumbled into Richie's chest. "I love you too." He replied. We got up and walked downstairs. We sat on the couch and yet again, fell asleep. 💙
