Hi, my name is Hanna. I was what most would consider popular, people worshipped me and well..its fun being me.. but, I always feel like something's missing and to tell you the truth I knew exactly what it was, a penis.
And no, I didn't want another man's penis, I wanted my own. I know that sounds a bit strange, it still even sounds strange to me and I'm the one thinking it.
I sigh as I close my locker door shut. These thoughts were overtaking my mind. I snap out of my thoughts when a couple girls walk by telling me 'good morning' and I mumble a 'hi' back at them.
What? Just because I'm popular doesn't mean I'm a bitch. I greet everyone, no matter how fugly they are. I know, I'm great! No need to tell me.
"Hey Hanna!" My friend Nathan greets me. You know that guy that is absolutely in love with his girl bestfriend, but never tells them? Well that was him and I was that bestfriend.
"Hey Nathan." I greet right back. I mean he was hot, but he wasn't really my type and if he really knew what was going on in my head he would be running for the hills. But as I always say, the less my friends know, the better..I guess.
"Hows it going this morning? Did you ever finish your math homework? I know you were struggling quite a bit."
"It's going fine, and no, I didnt. I was about to come find you to ask for some help. I just don't get it." I pout.
"Of course I'll help. Anything for you Hanna Banana." I scrunch my nose up at the lame nickname. Even after 2 years he won't give it up even though I've told him multiple times I hate it.
"Okay, so I did most of the questions that I could answer and just skipped the ones I didn't get, so if you could help me with those." I look over at him. "So, is that okay?"
"Yeah of course. Let's go sit in the library." I follow after him as he leads the way to the library. The halls were covered in posters for the upcoming dance, and of course my friends were forcing me to go. Their excuses being, 'hanna you're the most popular girl in school, you just have to go' which I already knew, but still, dances weren't really my thing.
We reach the library and enter. Nathan and I are greeted by a few people as we head over to our usual spot. It was a little loveseat in the back corner of the room. I sigh as I sit down.
"Why does math even exist Nate?"
"Because without it we would be lost..? I think. To be honest I don't know the answer to that." I take in a deep breath and let it out in a huff.
"Okay, well let's see it." He says changing the topic.
"See what?" I question curiously.
"The math assignment.. seriously Hanna? What else would I be talking about?" I think.
I pull my backpack over to my feet and grab out my math textbook and notebook.
"Okay, so I have more than half of the questions done, but I wouldn't mind if you check them real quick." I say in hopes he'll agree. Of course he does.
I flip to the page that has the questions on it as he turns to page 283. He takes the notebook from me and starts checking them.
"Hanna..you really suck at math.. none of these are right. Not a single one. Ah, what am I going to do with you?"
"None? But I took all night answering those." I whine. This was going to be one hell of a morning.
