Victoria knew her father was getting sicker as the days passed. She knew that there were wolfs watching from the border line time to time, but everytime she took a second look they were gone.

She wasn't naive to the world she lived in. She knew the true danger of the beauty we call earth.

The days seemed shorter if that's possible. Her father still hadn't open his eyes he'd lay on the bed his eyes had darken bags underneath them he was sickly pale, and his skin didn't radiate the warmth of life anymore.

Her mom cried more, it's like she knew that he was going to die. And that truth alone hurt Victoria even more.

So when she found her self by the border line just standing there. She was unaware of the eyes that lurked in the darkness of the forest waiting for its prey.

She was unaware of the beast they call the king of rebels she was unaware that in due time on the very spot she was standing that it would be the ground filled with blood angany and pain.

She was unaware that her pack was getting ready to be slatured by none other then the king of rebels.

While she stood there she didn't know that in a very few days to kings would come ones only heard of from myths nether that many has actually come to see, would stand on that very ground.

Victoria felt eyes on her as she looked around. Her eyes we're met with nothing, but she had an itch that someone, something was watching her.

She shook off the thoughts that we're forcing her to drown with brick boulders on her shoulders.

Not long after she reached they're pack house where her father was currently trying to nurse back to health. After entering she headed straight for her best friends room, none other than the Alpha's daughter.

"Carly?" Victoria asked as she walked into Carly's room.

Carly came out of the closet holding a small blanket, she looked up and saw Victoria. A bright smile came onto Carly's face.

"Victoria! Oh, I'm so happy your here! You can help me with this blanket!"

Victoria smiled at the girl, it was days when Carly acted like a complete child, then there were days when she couldn't even crack a joke. Today seemed to be one of the good days.

Victoria Sat onto Carly's queen size bed. "Blanket? What for?" Victoria asked.

Carly gave Victoria a disappointed look. Carly couldn't understand how she'd forget usually she'd be mad at her, but Carly knew she had a lot on her mind with what's going on with her father.

"It's okay, we can do it later. How are you?" Carly asked.

Victoria smiled a sad smile. "I'm getting there Carl's, it's just hard you know?"

Carly nodded at her friend. "Yeah, I'm here for you Tori, through thick and thin, hell and water. Doesn't matter."

Victoria felt better knowing she had Carly, she didn't know what she'd do without someone as loving as her.

"What would I do without you Carl's?" Victoria asked honestly.

Carly smiled, "Um, I don't know... Maybe lose your mind." Carly teased.

Victoria couldn't help but laugh. Carly always knew how to make her feel a little better. She'd remember the time when they were five and her favorite bear lost all the stuffing. Carly had said that sometimes the things we love has to sacrifice themselves so other's could live, she said that's what Mr. Bear did for his other bear friends.
