chapter 4

Cara's point of view:

Just by looking into Katy's eyes i knew there was something wrong, but she wouldn't tell me!

I got out of the pool and walked toward the screen doors! I couldn't believe it, Matt was kissing a girl, but who was it?

I decided to go in and find out for myself!

"Matt! what is going on?"

"Uhm, this is Caroline...my girlfriend!" he said, a bit confused and unsure!

"since when?" I asked with a bit of annoyance in my voice.

"since a bit ago!"

"uhm ok, well i'll see you later, I'm going outside with Katy!"

I left before he could say another word! I was being rude, didn't even say hi to 'Caroline' , but whatever! I already didn't like her!

I joined Katy by the pool where I found her crying! I knew she had a thing for Matt, and I always wanted them together, but why did he do this? I know Matt likes her! He told me a while back, but why was he acting like this?

"Katy? Are you ok?" I asked

"Yea!" she said with a hurt voice, and cleaned her tears.

"I'm sorry!"

"No, its fine...its not your fault, i just got my hopes up too much!"

"I know that surprise was for you! I know it for a fact! I just don't know why he is acting like this!"

"How do you know for sure?"

"Because he told me a while back that he liked you! He just couldn't find a way to tell you!"

"Well that's a nice way of showing!...
You know what, forget about it! Lets just have fun for the rest of the night! ok?!" she said, whipping her tears away completely and jumping in the pool

"Ok!"

I know she was really hurt, I know my best friend, but ill just give her time and then talk to her!
