Mary Joseph, a vertically challenged, Lebanese girl of seventeen, with "messy as shit" black hair was just an ordinary fan of the boy and One Direction. Their concert, Made in the A.M. had been announced last month and she had been counting down the days until tickets came on sale. With just one day until the release of the tickets she coveted more than anything in the world, Mary was a nervous wreck. Her two best friends, Holly and Erin also anxiously awaited the sale, being die-hard fans themselves. After years of waiting for this concert to come, saving every penny and seizing every wish, the moment had come for their dreams to come true. Just one day left. The moment of truth just a few hours away.

"We got the tickets!" Holly's manic shrieks of excitement can be heard by everyone across the quad.

"Are you serious?" Mary gasps, hardly able to believe this was finally happening.

"Yes I totally am!"

Leaping up from where they had been sitting, the three best friends formed a tight huddle, jumping in a circle chanting random One Direction lyrics. The first ones that came to their heads.

"My life is finally complete" Holly sighs, collapsing back onto the grass.

"Don't get too ahead of yourself" laughs Mary. "We still have to go to the actual concert and that's not for another eight months."

"So far away," erin mumbles "I don't know how we'll survive it."

Laying side by side, each of the girls fantasise about seeing their favourite group, filled to the brim with excitement for the big day, eight months from now. April 20th.
