The beginning of US.

First day in Turkey

"sir? excuse me sir..."

"huh?...where am I? what's going on? What the hell am I doing on a plane?" I asked confusedly

"hahahaha, you're funny sir. would you like meal A or meal B sir?" asked the female flight attendant

"Huh? What are you blabbering about?" I asked confusedly. "Oh, sorry, now I remember, I'm on my way to Turkey right? Sorry, I'm always like this when I wake up. So what's meal a and what's meal b?" I replied quite embarrassed by my action

"It's okay sir and yeah, you're on your way to Turkey. So meal A is..." replied the attendant

"I'll take meal B and mango juice, please, thank you."

I got up to go to the toilet to wash my face. Still quite embarrassed with my action though. I wondered if I snored or not while i was sleeping.

As soon as I finished washing my face, I went back to my seat and saw that the meal was there on my tray already. So I sat down and started eating it. I saw the screen showing the minutes left until we arrived in Turkey and it isn't long, there was like 34 mins left until we land at the airport.

I decided to use the time left to continue reading the book. After reading the book for a couple of minutes I stopped because I was just way to excited to see Turkey,  so I looked out the window and saw a magnificent land. It was so green, unlike Qatar which is so hot and full of sand. My mind was just blown away with the beauty of this place.

I can feel the plane starting to descend. Now I'm able to see what's beneath the clouds more clearly. We started to approach a city.

"Hello, this is the captain. We are going to land at Gökçen airport in a few minutes. Could you all please return to your seats and fasten your seat belts..."

As soon as we landed, everyone started to get their bags that they brought with them. My dad told me to let everyone else go first and we would go later when there's less people. The other families that went with us also decided to stay, since we didn't want to get split up.

"Pop, can I have my passport? I wanna go alone." I asked my dad

"erm... yeah, sure. Why not?" He took his bag and took out all of the passports that were in it. He quickly scanned through them

"Here's yours."

"right, thanks pop." I took the passport from his hand and just smile

I grabbed my bags and rushed out of the plane, leaving everyone else behind. I had to go out quickly because I really need the toilet. As I walked around, I look for signs leading to the toilets but i couldn't see any. There was a sign saying 'tuvalet' though.

"Tu-va-let huh? Sound close enough to toilet." I thought to myself while heading to it.

It really was the toilet and lucky for me that there's  signs on the door showing male and female. Otherwise I would end up going to the wrong one.

After I finished doing my business, I went straight to passport control and saw that everyone was there already, waiting in the line.

Since i was alone, I passed it quickly and head straight to pick up the luggage. Some families already passed it too.

I tried to get trolleys but couldn't. Apparently we had to pay to use them. So I just went and got all the luggage that I could remember and set them at the side. Aisyah's and E-kiut's families didn't pass the passport check yet, so I decide to take their luggage too. I remember Aisyah's family got 5 luggage and they all got a small ribbon tied to it. Since I was the one who helped them earlier, I remembered that clearly. E-kiut's luggage was easier to spot, they were all light green.
