Sorry that I've been really lacking in my character descriptions! I'm going to put in a descriptions of Amare and other characters that I introduce! Let me know what you think about this chapter! (:

========================================

Today is my first day back at Dolesi High School since the accident and I need to get caught up in my school work, It's also going to be the first time in almost 2 weeks that I got to see my friends.

I woke up this morning and felt like I wanted to go right back to sleep... I haven't been getting very much sleep lately... It is very unusual because I normally sleep like a rock and hardly ever remember my dreams, but ever since I met Aiden... I've been having some really crazy dreams.

Every night it's the same... I'm soaring through the sky with someone's warm embrace around my waist, the cool wind running by my face like water. Except instead of throwing my self around trying to get out of the arms of my savior I just accept it and "go with the flow" I guess one could say. Then I wake up in my bed with my heart still pounding with excitement...

Anyways... Yeah! Today is my first day back at school!

Guess who is excited!

Just guess!

Comeeee Onnnnnnn!

Ha... Not this kid.

I slowly made my way out of bed and pulled my silver sheets and red comforter to a place where it looked like I tried to make it. I yawned at stretched while walking to the other side of my khaki colored room.  There was an old soda that I had brought to bed with me the night before and not caring, I took a big swig of it to try and get rid of the taste of morning breath; it didn't help though, just made it worse.

I looked at myself in my silver plated mirror that sat on my dresser...

I studied my looks... My eyes as gold as a wheat field and my long hair as black as the night.  My eyes would soon be lined with black charcoal and painted with a variety of purple eye shadow. I started to stare at the angles of my face and remembered the pain that young children could inflict upon another...

Round faced Amare was what my 5th grade unrequited love would call me... He was the boy who forced me to learn why they are called crushes... It's pretty hard for a girl at that age to like a boy and get her heart smashed into a thousand tiny pieces with a sledgehammer and then trampled on by other kids.

I pushed the bad memories from my thoughts and thought about Billy, the boy who stayed my friend even after all of my other friends had turned on me for my "round face". He was a tall boy with a masculine build, which he most certainly didn't have when we were children, but he did still have his long sandy blonde hair which he now liked to spike into a mohawk.

He was the only real freind that I have ever had and I don't think that anything will be able to come between us.

I made my way down the hallway, past my brother's room and the bathroom before stomping down the ugly carpeted stairs of my home. I slipped into the kitchen almost unnoticed by my mother, father, and younger brother.

"Good morning sleepy head!"

"Hey mom."

She handed me a peice of toast with butter and strawberry jelly and as she walked it to me her light brown hair danced in the wind, her new pixie cut suited her face well. She never wore make up and had the brightest and most electrifying blue eyes that one could ever hope for. My dad stood with his back in the corner of the room, like he always does, and was very unsociable until he had finised his first cup of coffee. My dad is a lanky fellow with short brown hair and green eyes, my brother looks just like him but with long brown hair; he is a typical 14 year old skater kid.

"Are you ready for your first day back at school?"

"Yes, but I still want to go back to b--"

My dad cut me off there and pushed me out the door and slammed it behind me so that I could catch the bus, I was amazed because he was functioning before he had finished his first cup of joe.

________________________________

The bus was discusting and full of sweaty kids looking at me like I had three heads plus my teachers, who looked like they didn't know what to say to me, each gave me an inch of make up work. What was up with people today?

*Ringing Bell*

12:30 = Lunch Time

Oh joy. I get to listen to my totally hot best friend yell at me for not contacting him while I was in the hospital. Plus he will probably tell me that I should have written a letter or sent a telegram. I have to admit that he is my second unrequited love and I can't wait to see him today; I hope that he doesn't blame himself for the crash...

I got my usual lunch, a salad with grilled chicken with a concoction of ranch and ketchup in a little container to dip the chicken and then throw the salad part away, and sat at my usual table way in the back of the lunch room next to the vending machines.

5 minutes...

10 minutes...

20 minutes...

Now I was confused... Where was Billy?

*Clang*

It sounded like someone dropping a tray on to the table and I snapped back into reality.

Crystal blue eyes and black hair...

It wasn't Billy...

It was...

Aiden...

Aiden Corvus, as his name tag said.
