"I'll be home before 12 o'clock mom, I'm going to be a Billys to study for our Math final on Monday!" I always felt guilty when I lied to my mom, I knew that she didn't deserve it.

"Alright honey! I don't want you to be a minute late, when you get home I'll already be in bed and dinner will be in the fridge!" She always had food ready when I got home, and I was thankful for that. "Just make good decisions and get a bunch of studying done!" she said with an oddly upbeat tone, I wonder why she was so happy.

I bit my lip and said, "Bye mom" then flipped my phone closed with a loud snap and turned to look at Billy who was standing next to his 2012 Honda Shadow RS; it was his pride and joy.  It was a blue and black bike with no noticable decal on it, plus he spent a fortune on it; over 8,000 dollars. Which is alot for someone making minimum wage at McDonalds.

As he took a big swig out of his third Budwiser and said, "Are you all set? I can't wait to PAR-TEH." He was such a dork and that's why he was the best.

"Yeah, I've just got to be back by midnight." I said as I laughed and thought about the lie that I told my mother.

"Alright," He patted the back of his seat and smiled a big cheezy grin from ear to ear, "Hop on!"

I walked over to his bike and slowly slid myself onto the back of his Honda and wrapped my arms around his chest, I could feel the warmth pulsing through his back and his heart beat fluctuating.

That's all I remember before the crash happened.
