From young years the brunette boy had looked up to his mother. She was one of the wisest people in the country, if you asked him. Amd most importantly, she never seemed like she was scared. And to Landon it never was a question of what his future career would be, he was going to be the next oracle, when his mother no longer would. It was not only his dream, but his fate, and he couldn't be happier about it.

Landon lived by the fire nation, in a small village called Bluefire. His mother had moved there to live with his father when she was young, but every now and then she went to the capital to tell the king about the prophecies. She got paid well for her work, and the family was highly ranked nobels.

During his whole life he went to school with all kind of kids, from fire hybrids to shapeshifters. His best friend, Vurb, and him often spent long hours playing and having fun, and when Landon wasn't with Vurb he was often seen with his older cousin, Frags. Frags lived in the middle of the city, and was one of the few fire hybrids to be so close to human kids, this mostly as Frags was half human, on his mother's side.

Either way, our story starts during a family dinner. All of them talking cheerfully, Frags was actually in the middle of telling everyone how great Landon had become at sword fighting the past month, since he had been his coach. But while he did that Landon got his first vision, and spoke his first prophecy.

"In broad daylight the king will die,

Under the hand of our earth he will lie,

Soon the hooded boy who loves games,

Will be for the killing of the king get fame,

By his side another young one will stand

This one half metal half boy,

Him who lost all he had to the king's hand.

The last one in the king's blood will lift,

When he from big to small shift,

All these young peasant boys will come,

When their leader is at his highest point"

From the moment he said those words everything changed. He knew, he just knew, that he would have to tell Herobrine. But everything on his mind was his best friend, Vurb. Landon had met Herobrine several times, and from what he knew the king would probably kill everyone who matched that description. And the big to small part could surely fit perfectly to his shapeshifting buddy.

"Was that a prophecy?" Frags asked in surprise, I nodded my head. "Sick dude, congrats" he gave me a highfive, but I just couldn't concentrate.

"Then we have to leave for the capital at once" Landon's mother told him, he just agreed. Both standing up from their seat, excusing themselves, before leaving in a hurry towards the kings castle.

When they arrived Landon got brought into a room with Herobrine himself, as well as his daughters, his mother waiting outside with their horses.

"So tell me son, what did you see?" the king asked him, his white eyes even scarier when they looked directly at you. "Tell me this prophecy" Landon nodded, nervous about doing something wrong.

"Soon the king will die,

under the hand of our dirt he will lie,

Soon three peasant boys over him stand,

rising in the leaders blood,

All these boys will arrive,

When the king celebrate can"

Landon immediately regretted saying this. He knew he had failed, he hadn't saved his friend at all, like he was planning on, instead he had put so many more in danger. But he couldn't change his mind now, he had to stand for what he said, and quickly after that he left.
