"There are two rules of this world." Caelo said as she lead the way through the abandoned resort. It was clear that it had once been a five star place: The lobby of the building was made of marble that danced in the array of the waters. Fish made houses out of the pots that once held grand potted plants, and really nice really wet furniture floated uselessly near the ceiling forever high up that was.

Caelo didn't really slow to give them time to gawk. She swam on her tail flicking  effortlessly. For every easy movement she made, it took twice the amount of energy for the non-siren mutants to swim. It was almost funny.

"Rule number one," Caelo said, "Always listen to Destiny's words." She tightened her grip on her spear, "Destiny is never wrong. It will be a cold day in Hell before she is wrong about an event."

Outside the Resort hotel, lead directly to a swimming pool area that was less than useless now that the whole place was under water. There were a few sirens here and there, a couple kids that were messing around with fish, a few teenagers that were holding hands, one was lounging on the roof of the building like he was sunbathing. The range of colors was stunningly beautiful.

A few waved at Caelo as they moved but paid no mind to the not fish people. Flavia, the yellow siren, and Rosea, the pink one, swam off with half a word to Caelo in their language. It seemed no one was particularly afraid of them, especially not when Caelo was around.

"The second Rule," She continued, "is don't try to force them." She scowled. "Destiny spit out very few good prophecies, but even then, it's not wise to trying to force them to come true. It only makes a bigger mess of things. Like Karma. That is why we have waited so long for the PeaceMaker to come." She lead them to an adjoining building that might have once been a giftshop. Rubber ducks bobbed in the ceiling with all sorts of items that once would have extremely pricey suveniors of a good trip. The words "Starlit City" were printed everywhere.

In the back of the shop an older siren was seated on a cot weighed down with several rocks. He was at least twice the age of any of them, with wrinkled old eyes and a cane he was leaning on as if he had been waiting for them for years. His scales were a light sky blue. The look in Caelo's eyes softened when she saw him.

"Hey, Dad," She said kindly, "I brought them with me. You said I need to bring the Peacemaker to you when I found her--"

His face was pulled in to a smile, the exact opposite of Caelo's expressions. He looked forever happy as he scanned over them all before he shook his head.

"No Caelo," He said, reaching out and patting her arm gently, "There is no Peacemaker here."
