Bambam somehow got Mark into his car. It was awkward since Mark didn't seem like he wanted to get into some car. But bambam finally managed to do so. The car ride was silent, the soft music playing from the radio was the only thing that filled the car with sound. Mark looked out the car window, his eyes looking at everything curiously like he always did when he was going home with a new owner. Bambam would glance at him occasionally, just to make sure Mark was okay or at least comfortable.

When they got to Bambam's home, Mark sighed. It's huge, not only that, probably has very fancy things meaning if he broke something it would cost lots of money to replace, eh Bambam will probably be able to replace anything. Bambam parked the car and turned it off. 'So uh.. here's my house..' 'more like a mansion..' Mark mumbled as he opened the car door. Bambam did the same and got out, waiting for Mark for they both can walked together up to the house. Mark shuffled over to Bambam and lowered his ears, his tail tucking between his legs. Bambam slowly walked up to the door and unlocked it, opening it and stepping aside so Mark can go in first. Mark walked inside and looked around. 'Isn't what I truly expected' Mark said truthfully and walked around. It was more homey, less fancy. It was decent, had a comfy looking couch, a huge flat screen tv, a glass coffee table, a couple of picture frames hanging on the wall, a mirror hanged across from the tv. 'Well i did say i was gonna show you my library room' Bambam said and waved Mark to follow him. Mark followed and looked around as they walked down a hall. Bambam stopped at the second door and opened it 'take a look' he said. Mark immediately goes into the room and his eyes light up at the shelves filled with books. Mark goes over to a shelf and ran his fingers gently over the spine of the books. 'Woah' he whispered excitedly as he pulled a book out and flipped through the pages and read the summary on the back of the book.

Bambam watched from the door way as Mark kept walking around the room and picking different books up and then putting them back. His tail finally started swaying around softly and his ears were perked up, twitching to every little sound he heard. Bambam smiled softly 'he's really cute..' he thought to himself. 'Am i allowed to read them?' Mark asked. He held a book against his chest with both hands. Bambam snapped back into reality and nodded. 'Yeah of course, no need to ask' Bambam said. Mark smiled and walked over to the table bambam had in the room, sitting down and opening the book. 'Hey.. I'm gonna go make some lunch, so if you need me, i'll be in the kitchen' Bambam said before fixing his posture and leaving Mark's sight. Mark pouted slightly, he wanted the younger to join him, read something with him, but of course he shouldn't be expecting anything like that. Bambam is his owner, and he has to obey his every command no matter what. Mark felt angry again, the fur on his tail puffing up and his ears going back to their laid position. He hates being owned sometimes, his old owners would always force him to do so many things.. he has a very small, and i mean small, hint of hope in the back of his locked up heart, that Bambam is different.

Bambam made sandwiches, he really wanted Mark to feel comfortable around him, that was the point in having a roommate no? Either way he grabbed the small platter with sandwiches and walked back to the room where Mark is. 'Seems like you really like that book..' Bambam said softly as he entered the room. Mark nodded before folding the left tip of the page he was on and closing the book. 'It's really good, it's a super natural romance novel.. I don't like romance very much but this one is good' Mark said and grinned. Bambam nodded and placed the platter down. 'I made sandwiches if you're hungry, some orange juice as well' Bambam pointed at the two cups next to the sandwiches. Mark stared at them, a little shocked. Actually very shocked, his old owners never did this, they made him the maid of the house, making him do the things like cleaning and dusting. Half the time he had to feed himself, otherwise no one would feed him. Mark slowly shifted his stare at bambam. 'Thank you..' he said softly, almost in a whisper. Bambam nodded and furrowed his eyebrows slightly. Mark shot a glance at the empty chair next to him before looking at bambam again, as if to tell him to sit. Bambam sat down and grabbed a sandwich, biting into it and chewing softly. Mark stared at the plate again. 'You can eat one if you want too' Bambam said, nodding his head to the plate in front of them, encouraging the hybrid to grab a sandwich. Mark nodded and grabbed it, bringing it to his lips and slowly taking small bites out of it, his ears fluttering and his tail swaying slowly. Bambam doesn't really understand why Mark waits until he says it's okay.

After a while of reading together, Bambam suggested on giving Mark a house tour, so that's what they did. 'and this my room! It's the biggest bedroom in the whole house' Bambam said and opened the door, letting Mark take a look. Mark slowly stepped into the room and looked around, he's right, all the other rooms are medium compared to Bambam's. The bed looked like a king size, there was some double doors on the far side of the room, probably the closet, and then another single door, probably the bathroom. He had nice furniture and a desk by the window with papers scattered around it. 'do you want to see the balcony?' Bambam asked. Mark nodded and bambam smiled as he opened two glass doors, revealing a decent sized balcony. Mark cautiously walked out onto the balcony and looked around. He liked it, you get a good view of the sky and the back yard.

At some point bambam would have to ask Mark what would he like his sleeping arrangements to be, either sharing a room or having his own room. 'so what do you prefer' Bambam asked. Mark looked around the room again. Mark has those moments where he can just become a really soft kitten and just act all shy and it'll melt anyone's heart. 'i.. my old owner would always make me sleep on the floor or in the living room..' he said softly, playing with his hands and flattening his ears on his head, his tail instantly going between his legs. He wants to sleep next to Bambam, wanting to experience how it feels like to sleep next to the person who's willing to care for you. Bambam smiled 'well i'm not your old owners, is you want, we can share a bed tonight and if you like it then we'll share this room together. if you don't like it, you can have your own room' Bambam said and bounced on the bed slightly. Mark nodded and smiled. 'okay' he mumbled softly. Bambam walked up to him and patted his head softly. Mark's cheeks heated up as they turned a light pink. Bambam noticed and smiled, placing one hand on Mark's cheek and using his thumb to rub it softly. Mark leaned into his touch hesitantly, staring into Bambam's warm eyes before closing his own and purring. It was faint but Bambam could hear it on how close they are standing in front of each other. Mark then opened his eyes 'why are you so nice?' He asked and nuzzled into Bambam's hand. 'why wouldn't i be?' Bambam asked, feeling his heart flutter as Mark looked so adorable just doing something simple as in nuzzling into his hand. Mark sighed softly 'some people aren't nice' Mark shrugged 'i just wonder why you are.. this world is just cruel..' Mark said before moving his face away from Bambam's hand. Bambam frowned. Is this how Mark thought all the time? Mark noticed Bambam's facial expression and panicked slightly, he didn't mean to anger him or anything. His immediate reaction was to lower his ears, tuck his tail, and back away, more like cower away. Bambam was even more confused. 'what's wrong?' He asked. Mark almost let out a yelp when bambam reached his hand out. Mark stared at Bambam with confusion but also fear. Bambam had a lot to figure out.

Dinner was awkward, Mark sat away from Bambam and bambam had to tell Mark to sit at the table and not on the floor. Mark just seemed not to understand why bambam treated him like if he was special. It was now bed time and Mark watched as bambam crawled onto the bed. Bambam had let Mark use some sweatpants and a hoodie, making him look cute. Mark bit his bottom lip. 'mark, it's okay to get on the bed' Bambam sighed tiredly and patted the empty space beside him. 'are you sure you're okay' Mark asked before getting on the bed as Bambam nodded his head yes. Mark got under the covers and watched bambam get comfortable before doing the same. 'night mark' Bambam said and curled up, closing his eyes. 'night bam' Mark whispered and wrapped his tail around his leg. He waited for a while before scooting closer to Bambam, wanting to be close to him and wanted to feel more of Bambam's heat that his body produced. Mark also liked the smell on Bambam's pillows. It was a coconut vanilla type smell, it was good. Mark smiled softly before slowly falling asleep.
