ThornStar settled down  in his nest. "Why did I leave the perfect mate?" he sighed and laid his tail on his muzzle. ThornStar closed his eyes and found himself standing in MoonClan's camp. "Why am I here?" then tiny mewling came from a small den. He padded to the entrance and slipped inside, it was bigger than it looked before. A black and white she-cat was laying down with three kits, they were curled in a big ball of warm fur and love. "ThornTail. Come meet your kits. This is DewKit, MudKit, and our only daughter, MapleKit." when she looked at them, her eyes were full of love. ThornStar saw himself turn around and leave, he looked at him and back at the she-cat. He raced to her side and curled around her, "I'm here WillowLeaf. I'm here my love. I never should of left." he curled closer to the starring image of his mate and kits. "I'm sorry." he stood up and followed his image out of camp. Then sat out at the entrance when his image disappeared behind a bush. The sky was growing dark and the entrance to the camp rustled, revealing the black and white she-cat. "I have to look for him. You take care of the kits while i'm gone." she called back and raced through the forest. When he saw her come back she held her head low and her tail was drooping, "I'm right here!" he yowled. She entered the camp and the smell of fresh blood filled his nose, he raced through the tunnel to see WillowLeaf  slip through the nursery entrance. "MY KITS! NO!" he heard her yowl and raced to follow her. When he reached the inside, she was curled around the three kits and a brown she-cat. "BarkHeart, no. I told you to protect my kits and it took your life. I'm sorry my friend, my kits." she said in almost a whisper. Then the ginger and brown she-kit let out a faint mew, WillowLeaf stared in amazement. "TwigFur! COME QUICK!!" she yowled out of the den. A moment later, a dark brown and black tom walked in carrying a few herbs rapped in leaves. "MapleKit! Don't worry, I'll help her. By the way, three foxes attacked the nursery and camp. One came in the nursery while two others went through the front. I'm sorry about BarkHeart." he picked up the kit and left WillowLeaf alone in the nursery. Then the dream faded and darkness consumed him, he was standing in a lake of blood. The body of a cat was laying in front of him, too blood soaked to know who.                                                                                                                                                                                                      ThornStar woke up to a yowl from the entrance to the camp and screeching outside his den. He jumped up and raced out side to see cat fighting, blood being spilled in his camp, his home, his own clan's blood. With a yowl he stopped the fight," STOP! What in the name of StarClan is happening?!" he was furious. A  ginger and brown she-cat stepped out of a group of cats, "I am MapleLeaf, warrior of MoonClan and I am here to retrieve our leader for an ergent mission. Before I could find you, a few cats attacked my group here." she meowed calmly at him and dipped her head. "Well, I will talk to those who have acted so rudely and mouse-brained." he looked at the three cats of his standing in the group of MoonClan cats, "MapleLeaf is it? Your mother is in the warrior's den and..." He saw her race to MapleLeaf's side and bury her muzzle in her daughter's pelt. "Why are you here?" WillowStar asked MapleLeaf, her eyes full of worry. "She came to find you. The prophecy needs fulfilled. So lets not waste any time leaving. HoneyDawn! Go find RabbitFoot and FeatherPaw. We will need traveling herbs." he meowed to a golden she-cat, her brown eyes glowed. And a moment later a light brown tom and a Black apprentice came trotting out into the clearing holding a bundle of herbs, ThornStar could smell all the different herbs. "What? You can't come. The prophecy is for my mom, dad and I. You're not my dad." MapleLeaf said, "Yeah father, that would mean that she is my half sister and I can't be related to a MoonClan cat."  SharpNose  retorted. WillowStar looked at ThornStar and padded to his side, "I never should of left MoonClan my love." he said to her, his voice almost quivering. SharpEye looked at WillowStar with an anger that could not be cured, "YOU LIED! YOU SAID THAT YOUR ONE TRUE LOVE WAS MOTHER!" he yowled loud enough that the rabbits in MoonClan territory could hear. "YOUR CLAN IS NIGHTCLAN! IT ALWAYS WAS!" he yowled again. "SharpEye. You know quite well that the stories of MoonClan came from somewhere. And your mother was not my only love, WillowStar was my first and truest love. Your half sister MapleLeaf knows what it's like to be an only kit." ThornStar said calmly to SharpEye. MapleLeaf turned to her half brother and drew her lips back in the start of a snarl and a growl rose in her throat. " I guess that means we're kin, aren't we? Well I KNOW that we have to leave, if ThornStar is coming then lets go, I don't care." she turned and padded out of the entrance. ThornStar nodded to a few cats and they dashed through the entrance, a heartbeat later they were dragging MapleLeaf by the scruff through the entrance. "LET GO OFF ME YOU FLEABAGS!" she meowed. When they let go of her she turned around and leaped at ThornStar, landing awkwardly after he rushed under her to avoid the attack. He turned and jumped on her, his weight made her fall flat on her stomach. When she went limp her he didn't loosen his grip and dug his claws into her fur on her shoulders, making sure he didn't rip flesh. "GET OFF!" she finally yowled when her limp trick didn't work, and he stepped of to let her get up. She turned around and asked," How did you know about the limp trick?" she said through cleaning her pelt of dust. He was from MoonClan, and almost any cat knew the trick.                                                                                                                                                      They stood at the edge of the forest, looking back at what they loved, what could be the last chance to see home. "SharpEye. You didn't have to come." WillowStar said affectionately, her eyes full of care and love, even though she wasn't the mother, she loved him. "I want to get to know you. You are my fathers mate after all." he meowed back. ThornStar slowed his pace to meet with SharpEye, "Son. Why did you insist on coming? You know it will be dangerous.", but SharpEye just padded on. ThornStar was worried that he was hiding something from him, he always was a little secretive. The sun was going down, turning the sky to an orange and red color, setting the hills to a beautiful flamed outline.
