The moon shown over them as SilverHeart padded beside SharpEye, WillowStar and ThornStar just a tail length ahead of them. "Thank you. I can't say thank you enough." she meowed lovingly to her mate. SharpEye looked at her but didn't stop padding, his eyes glowed like a million stars had landed on them. When they stopped to take a break she curled up with SharpEye, his warmth and heartbeat soothed her until she was fast asleep. She woke up in the MoonClan nursery, she was laying on her side suckling four kits. "Mommy!" one of them mewed. She nuzzled them close, the entrance to the nursery rustled as SharpEye stepped in. SilverHeart looked up at him with love, "Our kits. They are beautiful, just like you." he meowed as he came to lay down next to her. She woke up to SharpEye nudging her side with one paw, "Come on. You sleep any longer and you'll be a bear when it's hibernating." he joked, padding away. When he returned he was carrying a plump vole, "Want to share?" he asked through a mouthful of fur, SilverHeart nodded as a reply. She got up, stretched her back and paws, and settled down to share the vole with SharpEye. After they were done they shared tongues, WillowStar and ThornStar were laying next to each other sharing tongues as well. "SharpEye? I think your dad and WillowStar like each other." she meowed, "They were mates once, before my father left and became leader of NightClan." he explained. She felt that tug at her heart, " When did he leave?" she asked kindly. "To my information right after my half sister and brothers were born. Though I heard that the toms didn't live." his meow was full of sorrow as though they were his real brothers, no, they were family even though he never met them. "I'm sorry. Well, you have me." she nuzzled up to him and felt the warmth of his fur seep into hers. It had been many moons since the fire in the forest, she was already noticing her belly getting bigger. " The kits are due very soon my love." she said to SharpEye, "I know. I don't like that the journey has been this long. We really must find you a nest to rest in." he looked around and padded over to ThornStar then whispered something into his ear, she strained her ears to hear what he had said. ThornStar looked back to see her panting and nodded, "I hope you weren't trying to eavesdrop on what i was saying. It's supposed to be a surprise." SharpEye smiled as he padded back to the silver she-cat and led her to a cozy bush. "This should keep the heat off of you, and ThornStar is going to bring some supplies with WillowStar to make a nest. MapleLeaf is going to hunt for some prey." he said calmly. The sun was starting to set by the time the others had settled down in their own make shift nests. A faint breeze blew and cooled SilverHeart's hot fur, in the distance a small stream gurgled and the faint swish of it's lapping on the ground made the she-cat sleepy. She closed her eyes and awoke to see herself in a small cave. Its walls were smooth, but in a few places there were deep claw marks. The air reeked of death and crow-food while their was no scent of any living thing. A shadow passed in front of SilverHeart and she jumped back, a cat stepped out of the shadows, it's brown and black pelt was all tangled and looked like it hadn't been groomed in ages. "Welcome, you must be the young one name SilverHeart. My name is Scales, like a snake I slither through the darkness." his old cracked voice ended with a faint laugh. "Why am I here?" she asked boldly to the old brown tom, his yellow snake like eyes gleamed with amusement, "Why? Well you will come here and one of you will fulfill your destiny. A certain tom that would do anything to save his mate." his muzzle grew a sly smile then he laughed, his cracked voice echoing against the walls of the dark cave. SilverHeart woke with a start, her heart ached at the thought of losing her mate when she was so close to having her kits. "No. StarClan will not have a new tabby tom anytime soon." she muttered to herself, SharpEye stirred next to her and poked his head up. He licked her cheek, "I have something I must tell you." she meowed in a quiet voice so she didn't wake any one else up, "I had a dream. We were in a cave er.... I was in a cave and I saw a brown tom. He called himself Scales, he said that we were going there so that a tom who would do anything to save his mate could fulfill his destiny. I thought that it was you because you saved me from the fire even though you could have died."
