Upon the tree stood a starving crow, so hungry she would eat herself. She wanted to eat, but was too weak to move. The crow began to reflect on her life, how she soared across the skies, how she birthed children, how she became lonely. These thoughts filled her with regret. With all this regret building up she didn't want to give up. She used all of her strength to push herself off the branch she stood upon. She then spread her wings, but it was too late. The bird fell to her death for her strength wasn't enough for her to persevere, for her to live. She died with that feeling of regret. Ants then came and ate her remains.
