Suberboy and Robin set up cots in the living room for the two. Aqualad accompanied them now, helping carry the blankets to them. They pushed them together, and turned the TV on low.
They would have taken them to the med bay, but they wanted them to be as comfortable as possible, as it was pretty much their fault they were like this. Megan and Robin were off duty, and this time Aqualad and Rocket were going to take the shift. They'd sleep on the couches to make sure that someone was there in case something happened.
Wally groaned from the couch, he was now practically on top of Artemis, shifting every hour, while the archer pretty much stayed as still as a rock. It'd been an hour since M'gann left, and Aqualad was starting to doubt his motherly skills. He was shopping Raquel would get here soon.
"Alright Kaldur, Bats wants me out for patrol, so I'm going to have to leave." Robin said.
"Ok, thank you for your help today." He said.
"No problem. You got this?" He said, gesturing over to the two.
Aqualad looked over nervously.
"Yes."
"Alright. C'mon Connor." They left the room just like that.
Ok, what first? Should he make them soup? Check their temperature, possibly get them on the cots now? He honestly had no idea.
He groaned and plopped onto the loveseat. "Need some help?"
He looked up, seeing none other then Roy. "Roy! What are you doing here?" He smiled, hugging his old friend.
"Heard Wally here has a cold. Thought I'd come help. Plus, Jade may or may not have threatened if I dong take care of her sister while she's taking care of Lian, that she'll slit my throat in my sleep." He said, taking his fingers across his throat.
"Oh. I think we should get them on the cot. They have been sleeping all day." He said.
"Alright, you take Wally and I'll take the girl, yeah?"
"Affirmative."
They walked over to the couch, and Kaldur gently shook Wally. "Wally?" He asked.
The speedster groaned. "Wally, I need you to get up. We're going to move you to the cot."
"M'kay. What 'bout Art-mis?" He murmured.
"We pushed the cots together so you could be close to each other. Roy's getting her now to hers. But we need you to get off of our friend, as it seems you are crushing her." He said.
"Oh, sorry babe." Artemis didn't even reply, just let out a deep breath, still sleeping.
"Should she be sleepin' this long." He rubbed his eyes.
"She is very tired. You have a faster healing process, the sickness affects her more." Aqualad explained.
He saw Roy reach for the blonde. "Hey buddy! Let me get er'." He stood up.
Big mistake.
Aqualad caught him before he hit the ground. Wally groaned. "Why does everything hurt so badly?" He asked.
"Wally, your damaged a lot right now. You would be in the hospital if it weren't for your speed." He explained.
Aqualad helped his dazed friend onto the cot, and began covering him in blankets as Artemis awoke. "W-Wally? Roy-Roy, where's Ollie? Where's Wally? I wanna see Wally." She murmured, sounding unsure and shaky.
"Mm right here babe." He said.
"Why does everything ache? And-And it's so cold- but it's so warm at the same time, and my head hurts. Why does my stomach feel f-flipped..." she slurred.
