A family trip

It's 7am, and today, grant and I are going to see his family this week and his cousin is getting married. "Did you put your suitcase in the back?" Grant asked me. I nodded in response as he walked up to me, "are you ready to go?" He asked me. I nodded again, "have fun this week!" Sela said. We chuckled and told her thanks. "Alright let's go," Grant said while looking at me. I gave him a smirk and we walked to car. We got in the car, I sat down and kicked my sandals off. I gave myself a smirk and put my feet on his thighs. "Starbucks please," I said. He looked at me and gave me a smirk, "damn you're demanding," he said. "I said please," I said as he started to rub my feet.

We smirked.

We got to his parents house, and got our suitcases out of the car. I already saw a bunch of cars, we went inside. "I'm here!" He yelled as we walked to the living room, "hi grant!" Everybody yelled. "Grant, who is this lovely lady?" A man asked. He looked like his uncle, "this is my girlfriend, Ashlynn," he said. I introduced my self to his family, and they introduced themselves to me as well. "okay well, all of the adults are basically not gonna be here this whole week, because we have to get ready for Ryan's wedding this week, so the older cousins has to watch the younger kids," his dad said. "Where are they?" Grant asked. "Everyone is in the basement. Sophie is in the garage," his mom said. "Okay, I'll watch them," he said. They all got up and him thanks. "Okay, well, we gotta go, but it was nice meeting you, Ashlynn!" His aunt said. I chuckled, "can y'all make dinner tonight?" His mom asked. We looked at each other, back at them, and nodded. "Thank you, good bye!" His mom said. Everyone left, "just us now. What do you wanna do?" He asked. "Oh i don't know," I said. "Do you wanna meet Sophie?" He asked. I nodded as walked outside holding hands. We got to the garage, "hey Sophie and hunter," Grant said. "Hey grant! Who is this?" She asked. "This is my girlfriend, Ashlynn," he said. She smiled, "oh hi Ashlynn! Nice to meet you!" She said happily. I chuckled. Her smile faded right after that, "are you okay Sophie?" Grant asked. "No, my car won't work. Can you and hunter help me?" She asked. "Why didn't hunter help you earlier?" He asked. "Because he's lazy, and a dumbass," she said. "Hey!" He yelled. We all laughed, "yeah we can help," he said as he and his brother took their shirts off. My cheeks were red as he threw his shirt at me and looked at me. They started to work as me and Sophie sat down. Minutes later, they stopped. They had motor oil all over them, and they were sweaty, "We've tried everything Sophie, but we can't get it to work," Grant said. I got up, and put my hair up, "give me the wrench," I said to grant. He gave me the wrench. I went to the car and put my hands in it, and instantly fixed it. The boys were shocked, mostly grant. I put the wrench on the table and walked to Sophie, "thank you so much!" She said. "No problem!" I said. I took grants shirt and went inside with him. "How the hell did you do that?" He said as I grabbed a washcloth, "I'm smart," I said. "More than smart," he said. We smirked while I got the cloth wet, "it's cold," he whispered. "I'm sorry," I said. He smirked and kissed me, "finished," I said. "Thank you," he said while getting off the counter, "You're welcome," I said. He smirked and kissed me again, "wanna go downstairs?" He whispered. I nodded when I walked to the door. I felt him grabbed my wrist, "can I call you my friend when we go downstairs?" He asked. "Yeah that's fine," I said. "I'm sorry. I just don't want them to freak out about us together," he said. I chuckled, "I get it. It's fine," I said. "This why I love you," he said when he kissed me. I chuckled, and we went down stairs. I saw a lot of little cousins playing, "cousin grant!!!" Everybody yelled to hug him. I chuckled, "hey guys! Y'all having fun?" He asked. They nodded, "who is she?" Someone asked. "This is my friend ash," he said. "That's Alex," he whispered in my ear. He introduced me to everyone as Alex looked down, "did you thought she was my girlfriend?" Grant asked. They all nodded, "nah, she's not my girlfriend," he said. "I'm hungry," Abby said. Everyone agreed with her, "well let's go upstairs, and see what we can have for dinner," he said as we all went upstairs. "So it looks like we're gonna have pizza," he said. Everyone got excited as Abby went up to me, "I wanna play with someone," she whispered in my ear. "I can play with you if you want me to," i whispered back. She quickly grabbed my hand and took me to the basement. We sat down on the carpet and we started playing with her barbies. "So Abby, tell me a little more about your self," I said while brushing the barbies hair, "well, I'm in 2nd grade. I like to play soccer, draw, and play barbies," she said. "That's cool! I was a soccer player when I was little. What do you like to draw?" I asked. "I ask my mom and dad what I should draw," she said. "That's cool!" I replied. "Yeah," She said in her lower voice. "What's wrong?" I asked. "I'm the only girl in my parents family and I'm only the girl kid here. I wish I had a sister," she said. "Yeah, that sucks. I have three younger siblings, and two of them are my sisters, while the youngest one is my brother," I said. "Can you be my friend?" She asked. My heart melted inside, "of course," I said. She hugged me, "I wan-" she said until she got interrupted by the boys yelling coming down stairs. She grabbed my hand. We was walking upstairs until I saw grant, "Abby, you go upstairs. I'll be there in a minute," I said. She nodded and went upstairs, "hey, how's it going?" He asked. "Abby is the sweetest kid I've ever meet," I said. He chuckled, "I know right! She's really sweet and very competitive, but she's just really sweet," he said. "I want to adopt that kid," I said. He chuckled, "well, maybe we can try something different soon," he said. I smirked as he kissed me. We left after that. I went upstairs to the kitchen and saw Abby. "Are you ready to play?" She asked as she was holding her soccer ball. I nodded, "let me put on my shoes," I said. I went upstairs to my suitcase that I put there earlier, and grabbed my black and white addias. "I'm ready Abby," I said. "Okay. Let's go!" She said while running out of the door. We walked outside and started playing soccer. About two hours later, Abby and I was still playing soccer until I saw someone walking to us. "Hey dinner is ready, so I have pizza for y'all," he said giving me and Abby some pizza, "thank you," I said. "So, I have something to tell both of you, it's nothing bad," he said as we started to nod. "So, all of the adults, including hunter and Sophie, is going to be at a hotel until tomorrow night, so basically we're "parents" until tomorrow night," he finished. "That's fine. What are we gonna do tomorrow?" I asked. "There's a lake downtown, so I'm thinking we could take the van that is in the garage, and thinking that the kids could do something fun while me and you could have some fun," he said. "Okay, thats sounds nice," I said while eating my pizza. "So, who's winning at soccer?" He asked. "I am!" Abby said as she was about to take a bite of her pizza. "Thought you were a soccer player," he said while giving me a smirk. "It's not fair! I haven't played soccer in years!" I said. He chuckled, "be inside when it's dark," he said as we started to nod. He walked  away. Abby started to yawn, "I'm tired," she said. I sighed, "Yeah me too," I said. She grabbed her soccer ball and we went inside. I saw grant in the kitchen, "oh, are y'all done playing soccer?" He asked. "Yeah, she's getting tired and so am I," I said. "oh ok. You can go get Abby ready for bed, while I'll go get the boys ready for bed," he said. I got Abby ready for bed and put her to sleep downstairs with the other cousins. So, it's just me and grant that's awake right now. I went upstairs to go take a shower and put different clothes on, and put my hair in a messy bun.
