"Harder!"
"A-ah~"
"Faster!"
"I-I can't~".
"Do you want more?!"
"Can we just continue this session tomorrow?"
Ruwei sighed and looked away. "Fine."
"Thanks!" I said picking up my clothes. I was in nothing but a sports bra and leggings, because Ruwei and I had just been doing an intense workout at the SB Rios Dojo, were he was helping me. The Dojo mostly specialized in Ju Jitsu, which I was kinda determined to learn. I was also on the SB Rios Bey team, along with Xander and Ruwei. Me and Ruwei had some issues in the past, so, we weren't really big on hanging out with each other. It was kinda hard to avoid each other, because we were friends with the same person.
I stifled a yawn at Ruwei. As cute as people said he was, I didn't see it, and me and him had been around each other for as long as I could remember! Ruwei, apparently knew he was "cute" and he used a little "charm" on girls occasionally when he wanted something. Of course, that was a few years ago, and he was definitely more humble. But that little defect in his personality had been enough to freak me out.
"What do you want?" His voice wasn't harsh, but uninviting.
"What?" I said, as I put on a t-shirt.
"You were staring at me!"
"And?"
"It's rude."
"Oh, so now I can't look at people? Ok."
He rolled his eyes. "I'm not saying that. I'm simply saying that if you don't have a valid reason for looking at me-"
"Hey!" Xander's voice boomed out into the training room. "You guys hungry?"
"N-" Ruwei started.
"HECK YEAH! Xander, you always know I'm ready to fill this tummy!" I said, stars in my eyes.
"Keep eating like that, you might finally pop!" Ruwei rudely butted in.
"Yeah, was I talking to you?"
"Oh, so now I can't put my input in things? Ok."
"Why you-"
"GUYS!" Xander looked slightly annoyed with a hint of amusement. "Do you always have to fight over everything? Everybody at this Dojo tells me you guys used to be REALLY good friends."
"Whatever. What are we going to eat?" I said.
"Rice cakes, pink spaghetti-"
"Woah- pink spaghetti?"
"Isn't she annoying, always butting-" Ruwei started.
"THAT'S IT!" I shouted, marching over to him.
"Wow, I'm shaking." He said. Except, while it looked like I was gonna hurt him, I knew exactly what to do. Ruwei made no attempt to move when I was within five inches from his face. I put out my hand. And then I pulled.
I pulled his ponytail that he was always wearing on his shoulder, so it was really begging for me to pull it. "OW-OW! Let go!"
"No!" I shouted. "This'll teach you to be a brat around me." Ruwei tried to swing a few punches. "Hit me, and the hair gets it!" Oh yeah. I was still holding that. "Do you have any idea how annoying it is when you I'm talking and you randomly say something stupid?" As I was talking, I was yanking his hair unconsciously, which was probably why his eyes were crossed in pain. "In fact-"
"Y/n, give it a rest!" Xander said, even though he was crying happy tears of laughter.
"..."
"Drop it."
I shook my head.
"Drop it." This time Xander had a more defiant edge to his voice.
I sighed. "You might wanna hold him back," I said, looking at the brunet, who was now glaring at me like he was gonna commit murder. I gripped his hair, at the tips, so it wouldn't hurt.
"Yeah, I'll give you a twenty second head start." Xander laughed. "Meet up at your place?"
"Yes!" I said. "3... 2.... 1.... LET IT RIP!!" I then let go of Ruwei's hair, and take off running at the same time. And then I trip. Over my hair. Unknowingly, my hair tie had fallen off of my hair, and now I was flat faced on the floor, while Xander, forgetting he was supposed to hold Ruwei down, was laughing so hard, that I thought he was going to cause a whole earthquake. My hair had always been long, and was yet to see a hair brush it could go through smoothly. Suddenly my hair tie fell out and and as I stood up, both Xander and Ruwei were looking at me. Of course, Ruwei who had been a step from tackling me suddenly stepped back.
"What?" I asked
"How come you don't wear your hair like that all the time?" Xander said. So straightforward. You gotta love that guy.
"Gets in the way."
Ruwei was quiet. For the first time in forever!
"Well. I'm ready to fight!" My hands up in fists.
"You are, but I'm not." Ruwei said.
"Oh, afraid of hurting me?"
"I could care less, it's just that with your hair down like that... you look like a normal human being."
Oof.
Guys, this is untitled part 27~ my draft for the Ruwei story. But i decided to do this whole x reader all over again. LOL, anyway, thx for reading!!!
