"What would you like to eat today,
My darling?"
I asked, expecting no response,
As per usual,
While I stared at a photo of you,
The dull film omitting the light of that
Beautiful day and your illuminated smile,
And my gaze shifted
To the murals of red you
Had left long ago,
Abstract, unclear meaning,
Like the words and expressions
You left,
Preceding your death,
Oh, so long ago,
Forever holding each other
Deep in our hearts.

Okay, wow. I've been on hiatus a long time. Two weeks after I announced I'd be on hiatus, well, let's just say something bad happened, and yeah, life's been pretty crappy since then. I apologize for coming back a month late, but I'll try to be a bit more active, especially once school ends. ANYWAYZ, I hope this was something okay for y'all, and I'll be back to the main stories soon!!! (If you're too lazy to interpret this poem like me, I'll put the storyline below lol.)
Interpretation thingy idfk:
Basically, this is told from Oliver's POV. It's evening on just an ordinary day (or it could be a day like their anniversary, birthday, or such) when he reminisces about his husband, Len. Len typically had a bright exterior, but he was driven to suicide without anyone noticing due to this after being harassed for *insert whatever reason you want*. Thus, the "murals of red" being his blood. The two still love each other but are now separated, leaving only memories and small ornaments as sentiments. Okay, probably didn't need the explanation but who tf cares? XD
