Hello there! Lexie here! So, a friend of mine said she liked the story and asked me if I would continue it. Well, here you go, Ruxy, hope you like it :)

After months of crying yourself to sleep and silent suffering when they are together, they finally give you the biggest kick they could give you at the moment. How could one consider the Holy Matrimony a happy ceremony if not everyone is happy?
After they (or she, better said) announce their intentions, in the midst of the party their friends organized, he pulls you outside to talk, while the monster is busy with gushing about the wedding plans with her bridesmaids. 'Truly a Bridezilla,' you joke inwardly, even though it is not the time to joke, nor are you in the mood.
The cold air of the night meets your skin and you regret not bringing your jacket with you, but then a familiar smelling jacket is draped over your shoulders and the goose bumps forming on your arms disappear. Now you no longer feel cold and alone. You know you shouldn't get used to it though; you won't feel protected anymore from now on.
His hands linger on your shoulders the way they used to linger once: longer than they should, but not in an unpleasant way. Will you feel his fingers leaving a tingly trace on your skin ever again?
And then he mutters only five words which throw you off the edge. You start to question the world again and a feeling of pity washes over you like a bucket full of cold water.
He looks in your eyes and you see the truth behind those smiles he throws at her. They say that the eyes are windows to the soul. If so, then his dark circles represent the old, torn frame of a broken, dejected window.
You know it's not right, but you still try to fix that window somehow by wrapping your arms around his torso in a hug. A small spark of hope blooms inside you when he pulls you closer to him and rests his head on top of yours.

Aaaand that concludes the second chapter! The third chapter will be coming pretty soon. That's all folks!
P.S.: does anyone have a passion for solving puzzles?
