(A/N: I had this idea while someone was asking me what I would do if I had a week to live. You can listen to the song while you read if it's not too distracting.  Don't forget to follow!!)

Tammy held her stomach wrenching in pain while the lights of the hospital hallway flashed quickly by her. Everything seemed to be moving in slowly but quickly all at once as she turned to her side, once again feeling the pain. Her head was spinning, frantic shouting voices coming from all directions. She tried to focus on slowing down her breaths as the nurses pushed her into the emergency room. Hot tears spilled out of her eyes and it felt as if they burned her cheeks. The pain was getting too bad, "I-I.." She tried to say but with every word the pain grew. She suddenly began to feel a numbness. The numbness started at her toes and traveled up, it wrapped around her and welcomed her like a blanket. She then blacked out.

"Tamara?" a voice called to her. "Tammy? Are you awake?" Tammy slowly opened her eyes, the light of the hospital room blinding her. She felt groggy and her head was spinning. She tried to get up, but a sharp pain in her side made her fall back onto the hospital bed. "Ah," She said reaching for her aching side. "Try not to move too much, it may get worse." The doctor said as he helped her back into the bed. "What happened?" She questioned. "You were wheeled in yesterday, at about 4 AM," he spoke, " Your mother said that your stomach was hurting but I am afraid that it's much worse than that." Tammy's heart dropped at his words, "Worse how?" She questioned. "You seem to be internally bleeding," He froze looking at Tammy. "We tried to look for where the blood was coming from but.. We couldn't find anything." "I am afraid that because of this the blood may compress your organs causing a dysfunction which will ultimately lead to hemorrhagic shock which may cause brain damage.. But in most cases..Death."  Tammy looked at the doctor with shocked eyes and her throat ran dry. "H-.." She choked on the lump in her throat. The doctor seemed to know what she was going to ask next. "I would say that you have about 3 days to..." He stopped. Seeing the look on Tammy's face, he decided not to continue and to let her have some space and some time for herself. "Please get some rest, Tammy." He said as he looked at her with sad eyes before he turned and exited the room.

Tammy sat there. She looked off into space. His words bounced around inside her head. Her eyes began to water as she looked down at her hands. Her purity ring on her finger, she took it off and placed it on the table near the bed. While she was looking at the mark that the ring had left on her finger the door opened and her mom walked in, her eyes were red. She had been crying for a while. Her mom sat in the chair next to the bed. They sat in silence for a while, neither of them said anything. "The doctor-.." She began but Tammy interrupted her quickly so she wouldn't have to hear it again, "I know.." She said looking down. "Is there anythin-.." She began again, "No.." Tammy said looking away from her distant mother. "Okay.." She said as She got up silently. She gently grabbed Tammy's hand. Tammy turned to look at her. "Please, if you need ANYTHING.... Please talk to me." Her mother said as a tear fell from her eyes. Tammy's heart fell as she began to cry. She had never seen her mother cry or ever show her emotions. Her mother quickly ran out of the room covering her mouth as she shut the door. Tammy looked down at the hand her mother held and a tear fell. She began to cry. She cried as loud as she wanted, ignoring the dull pain in her side. She cried until she couldn't anymore. Her throat was dry and she began to cough. She tried calming herself down but the sadness wouldn't go away. She closed her eyes, tired from crying. She sunk down deeper into the bed and let go.. Slipping off into a depressed slumber.
