[A/N: I know that the first chapter was a bit sad especially if you put yourself in Tammy's situation but hopefully this one will be a bit lighter (NVM it's not I almost cried while writing it.. i'm so sorry lol) . P.s. I feel that this song goes well with the feeling and empowerment she feels because of her besties.]

It was now about 1 in the afternoon. Tammy was in her hospital bed, frozen.. numb. She felt as though she was dead already. The sudden news made her begin to think about what she should have done.. How she should have went to that party with her friends. How she should have told that boy that she liked him. How she should have taken that shot.. How she should have gotten out of her cage and lived. All of her regrets weighing in on her sadness. While deep in thought She almost didn't notice the nurse open the door and let two people in. Her favorite people. "TAMMY WAMMY!" Lizzie; One of her favorite people yelled as she ran in quickly heading over to the light switch and cutting them on, snapping her out of her trance. "HOW COULD YOU GET SICK ON USSSS!" Taylor; the other one of her favorite people yelled in a fake whining voice. That made Tammy crack a smile, the first one she's had since she had entered the hospital.

Taylor and Lizzie were sitting on the bed embracing Tammy as she cried tears that she didn't know that she had. When she had gotten it all out Lizzie handed her a cup of water and she drank with tears still falling. "This is it.." Tammy said slipping back into her oblivion once again. "NO IT"S NOT TAMMY DON'T SAY THAT!" Taylor said with worried eyes as she shook her friend, the water spilling over the brim of the cup. "IT'S NOT OVER UNTIL YOU'VE LIVED!" Lizzie chimed in. "Live?" Tammy asked in a soft tired voice. "How can I live when death is staring me in the face." She continued as she looked at her reflection in the cup that was still in her hands. "It's too late for me..." Tammy said, her voice cracking from the sudden realization that when she dies...That'll be it. No coming back. Ever. "Tammy. Snap. Out. Of It!" Lizzie said holding Tammy's hands in hers looking at her with serious eyes. "It's NEVER too late to start living." She said, her eyes watering as she turned away so her friend wouldn't see her cry. She didn't want Tammy to feel as though she was being pitied. She was too strong for that. "You. Tamara Sern.. Are. A. Bull... And you will NOT go down without a FIGHT!" She said as she held on to her best friend. A feeling of began to fill Tammy's heart. It began to beat faster and faster. Her eyes watered, but not from sadness. These were tears of joy, of determination. She was going to Live. And she was NOT going to let death laugh in her face. She was going to fight. "If i don't.. what'll I have left to loose?. My life?" She thought to herself and cracked a smile. She embraced her friends once again in a heartfelt group hug. "I won't give up." She said to herself.
