Hi!My name is Aquata.I am 16 years old and well I'm a mermaid.I have one sister named Delphina.

Delphina:Did you take my shellphone
Aquata:Noooo.(I'm sooo going I get in trouble)
Delphina:then what are you holding in your hand.

Delphina grabs my wrist and takes her Shellphone back!I feel kinda bad for taking her Shellphone but I mean why does dad give her a Shellphone.Shes only 1 year older than me.Ugh I feel like life can be so unfair.

7:00 pm

Whiling I was hunting some food with my sister,I stuck my head out of the water and saw these interesting colorful sparks in the sky.I knew for sure they weren't stars.They were loud and big.When we got back home from eating I laid on my rock with my kelp and wondered what would the outside world be like.Ive always wanted to go onto land with mundanes,They look so interesting like there floppy 2 tails.

6:30 Am

Ugh I'm so hungrrryyyyy.I did hear a school salmon are near the shore today.
But it's pretty risky,but I mean hey food.As I was Eating the Salmon my tail got stuck in a net.I was splashing and flopping.Adrenaline was all I was feeling.I was tangling it even more the more I moved.

Unknown girl:Here let me help you I still have an hour till I school starts
Aquata:....um ok
Unknown girl:Grab my hand,I'll pull you out

I couldn't say no because what if someone else saw and she seemed kind.I didn't want to be stuck there forever,What if a group saw me,one girl wouldn't hurt.Ive heard stories on how humans were mean and horrible to creatures like me but she seemed different and I had to trust her.As The strange girl pulled me out she saw my tail.
