My name is Red. Red for R. D. Rider. Or, that's my code name anyway. I'm a spy traveling from Base H to Base G with medicines and bandages. My favourite way of travelling is by using a vertical maneuvering device to hop on branches and trees silently as not to get caught by Team Arachnid, the most elite team of warriors in the Snowdin and Waterfall regions. A vertical maneuvering device is a device attached to a belt that shoots two grappling hooks and they will attach on impact to almost anything. Team arachnid is called arachnid because of their agility in the air and their ability to jump and dodge. They aren't actually spiders. They bring you forward with ease and, like I said, they are near silent. Base G is at the very edge of Waterfall and Base H is in the center of Snowdin. The only problem is that the ice on the trees can be extremely slippery.
About one hour into the mission, I heard a voice in the trees.
"Heya, sweetheart."
Suspended in between two trees, I said, "What do you want, Spider?" he was definitely from Team Arachnid. Nobody else would ever be able to get up to trees this tall.
"The name's Wolf," he said with confidence like no tomorrow, "But you can call me Spider."
"Why are you here?" I said through gritted teeth. Even though I already knew.
"Probably won't come as a surprise but" definitely not "I'm here to assassinate you and take those supplies you have for my team. Cuz, after all, we are better than you rats."
I hate arachnids.
I said, "you can try," and immediately regretted it. He shot at me with his l-3 gun, the second best gun on the market. One of the bullets grazed my left leg. Dang it, that was going to hurt later. Then, he came at me as fast as a vertical maneuvering device could carry him, aiming to hit me with a right punch. I, however successfully blocked it. H-l sword thrust and another punch. Both successfully dodged. Another sword slice. He wasn't letting me get on the offencive side. How was he so fast? Two more punches, one from the left and one from the right. Then an upper kick. Classic arachnid move. I landed on the floor and did a sweep to make him lose his footing but with the armour that he had on, it hurt me a lot more than it hurt him. That was going to leave a bruise. I threw an upper punch that landed square in his face, knocking off his helmet. I tried to do a left sword slash to his arm but the armour made it so that I only left a scratch. However, it was good enough. I left a tiny amount of poison on my blade. Hopefully, team arachnid didn't have the cure. They probably did though. I tried to punch him in the face again, but he grabbed my arm, and flipped me onto my back.
"It's over sweetheart. Any last words?" I would have one more chance. "Aww. Too scared to talk, huh?" When he lifts me up, his stomach will be open. "Alright, come with me." Now! Upper kick to send him flying. Throw a dagger to hopefully hit him. Jump up. Shoot! I missed with the stupid dagger. He got up. Then, I saw a flash of orange and blue. It was Cho! Agent F-N must have sent her to trail me. She was getting ready to pounce. I ran forward and went for a left punch and upper-right punch. I knocked him down and said, "Cho, now!" She leaped through the air in a graceful manner, landing swiftly and puncturing the spider's armour with her claws. When he was on his back, Cho sliced her claws through his skin and armour. He had a deep slash on his chest.
"Calling agent Tylari. Agent Tylari, come pick me up" he said into his com device, and his com replied, "agent Tylari here. Roger that." It was rather choppy. He tried to get up with his vertical maneuvering device, but Cho stopped him by lying on top of him.
