chapter 5

"Robin... you are her, right?" What?

"Yes... are you Titania, or are you still greed?"

"I'm sorry... I-I didn't m-mean t-to." She started crying and covering her eyes. Okay, definitely not greed.

"It's okay Titania. It wasn't your fault. May I ask... what happened?"

"I found a necklace on the ground. I p-put it on and I w-was swarmed b-by darkness and sh-shadows. He could talk t-to me and he said that if i didn't heal h-him, then i would die. A-and so would n-natsuru. I was watching with my eyes b-but i c-couldn't change anything that i-i was doing. But... you h-have to destroy th-the power source. It w-will explode and kill everything within a-a 1200 miles r-radius."

"WHAT?! Al! You need to get me out of this dome now!"

"What? But i thought you said-"

"Screw it! Get me out!"

"Whatever you say." a giant hole appeared where al let me out. I practically threw titania into al's arms and ran towards the power source. As i did, a gigantic rumble hit the tower that sent me flying. Even though i had never tried this before, i attempted to make a shield like greeds with the calcium from my body. I surrounded the power source with it and sent more calcium arrows into the shield to destroy the power source.

"Robin! Use your healing magic! Pretend that the power source is an injury and heal it!"

"What?! How the heck will that help?!"

"Just trust me robin!" this was probably one of the dumbest things that i was ever going to do, but, i listened to titania. I took down the shield and focussed the last amount of energy that i had on the power source. I didn't have enough because of the amount that i used fighting greed. Suddenly, the power source sent a wave of energy outwards and knocked me down. And then, natsuru was there. He put his hands on my arm and gave me his energy. He would lose his magic if he gave me all of it.

It's okay, robin. Titania told me what would happen if we don't destroy it. I'll live.

I nodded to him and focussed my energy again. My hands started to glow a warm green color and my eyes started to glow as well. This always happens when i heal something big. I've never done this before, but whatever. The power source was starting to shrink from the healing and, even though i didn't think that it was possible, i was managing to hold my ground and keep healing. The power source was sending out winds stronger than those of a hurricane so i had no clue how i was still standing. And then i realised, no, i'm not standing. I was floating in the air. Which raised even more questions, but, none that i could answer right now. The power source shrunk until it was just the size of a small rock, and exploded into a horizontal wave of light. And then i was falling. Just falling. The power source was destroyed and now, the world wouldn't be destroyed. Although all of the remaining order would be. Regardless, i'll find a way to fix it.

"Robin!" i hit the floor and heard a loud snap. And an immense pain went through my arm. Yep, that was broken.

"Robin, are you okay?! You're bleeding badly. Al! Get over here! You need to heal robin!" now that i think about it, al was probably the only one with any energy left. Well then. My vision was getting blurry around the edges and I was starting to wonder if i would even survive. By now, al had reached me and put his arms next to my head to heal me. But nothing happened.

"It's not working! James, it's not working!!"

"What do you mean it's not working?!"

"My magic! I can't heal her!" Even though I was tired, and injured, for that matter, I got up and signed to natsuru.

"Whoa! Robin, lie down! You're injured!"

"I know."

Natsuru, by destroying the power source, did I destroy magic? Because you said that the power source controls all of the magic and order.

I think so. Ask Titania to make something with her alchemy.

"Titania... can you make something with your... alchemy, please?"

"Of course, robin." While Titania was drawing a circle, James and al kept trying to get me to lie down on my back. Everything went black for a moment, but then my vision returned. When my vision returned, i saw that James and al were wrapping bandages around my wounds and natsuru was splinting my arm. Titania was trying over and over to make something with her alchemy, but to no avail. When natsuru was done with my arm, I signed with my good hand, what about James's brother? You said he was here...

He is. But he's in the basement rooms.

This may seem like an out there request... but... take me to him. I know what he looks like. So does James, but she needs to find a way out with al. I'd be too slow to keep up with them. Please, natsuru.

... okay...

I slowly sat up, even though I was still weak, and leaned against a wall.

"James..I might have a way... to find your brother... but you need to trust me and try to find a way out... me and natsuru will find him... you and al get Titania out of this dang tower..."

"What? No! He's my brother and I haven't seen him for years!" Natsuru put a hand on her shoulder, a gesture to tell her that it's okay. I filled everyone in on the plan and James still disagreed, but she eventually went with it.

Thank you, natsuru.

Natsuru was only 18, and he was still about the same height as me, so he was able to support my weight while we walked. How natsuru knew how to get around this place, I had no clue.

Natsuru, if you know how to get around this place, wouldn't you know of an exit?

No. The master- greed... he made sure that none of us knew how to get out. We only escaped the first time because there was an old man who spent his life trying to get out of there. He was so close and shared his secret with us. When... he died, me and Titania tried to escape. It was pitch black and she must have gotten taken or lost. I couldn't hear her and couldn't see her. That's how we became lost and separated.

Thank you... natsuru... suddenly, I felt extreme nausea and slumped down. I remember natsuru shaking me and then it went dark again.

it's short... also you my have noticed that i took alchemy from full metal alchemist. i do not own full metal alchemist, but i just took alchemy and names, nothing else.
