I was sitting on the bench when Nick ran up to me with a peice of paper in hand. And barely spoke but his body was trembling. I had never seen any one shake when they saw me. He turn to go back but i spoke up.

"Hey, Nick, your trembling why is that?"

"Uhhh... I wasn't really supposed to give you that. The rest don't know. Also you kind of scare me. You better than almost everyone in the pack. You know it to. Ive seen you watch us. You've studied usnmore than most have. You know our schedule."

"Hey I try to stay out of your way. I don't need any trouble. You know your not that bad of a kid Nick. Most of them though would do anything to get each other in trouble."

"Yeah, sadly I do. Anyways I have to go. I will see you around."

"Yeah"

Thats when I heard it. Not from Nick but from the other four. Their cry. The howl. The sound. The most annoying sound there can be. The cry is high pitched. Deafly high pitched. Most dogs could hear it from miles away. It was that high pitched. It hurt my ears the most since I have trained my ears to hear subtle differences in the air and area around me. This is why I can be the alpha. I unfolded the paper and read. I started to smile at the first line.
