The woods looked almost as peaceful as the swings looked. I pushed off of the ground to start and started pumping my legs. After being there for awhile I started to hear the creak that I had grown used to. I was watching a bird flying in the woods when I heard a voice from behind me. I turned my head to see where it came from and I saw a girl who looked to be around my age behind me. What was happening, no one had ever intruded in my peacefulness before. She walked to the other swing and sat down. She said hi and started swinging. I said hi back and asked her named. She said it was Sophia but I could call her Sophi. I told her my name was Colt. We swung for awhile and then I asked her if she wanted to be friends. She said sure. I asked her why she had just decided to come to the swings and she said she just moved here. I'm her first friend.
