The empty halls reminded me of how empty i was, the bell signaling the start of class rang through it like the thought of you rang through my mind.
My foot steps were the only thing heard afterwards, a door opened, and you emerged.
I wondered why you stared at me as if you felt sorry, i stared back, but i thought of nothing.
You looked deep into my eyes, but it showed no emotion. At this moment i felt nothing, i was numb.
You slowly walked away from me, and i let you. I didn't call your name, i just tucked my hair behind my ear and kept walking to class.
And slowly but surely,
I made it without a single tear slipping from my eye.
