Chapter Five.

"I could understand getting on a cart or a boat but why a train?" Lucy's lower half of her body remained in the non-moving car while the upper half was sticking out the window. "Yep, what's the benefit of escaping on a train that can only run on rails?" The blue cat appeared next to Lucy, his head also out the window, looking down at Kunugi Station.

"It's fast however." Erza had her eyes on the station which everyone else was eying, her right hand on a blue lever, the lever which started and stopped the vehicle they were in.

"Those guys from Eisenwald must be in a big hurry for some reason then, you think?" Gray spoke from inside the vehicle, his right elbow resting out the window as his left leg was crossed over the other, Natsu was beside him, his face resting onto the seat as he tried not to throw up whatever it was in his guts.

"Why'd you strip?" Lucy asked hysterically, her question going the approval of Beryl who nodded furiously, wanting to know the answer.

 Gray looked down, he was in nothing but his underwear, "Well, would you look at that..."

"But the army's already on the move... Isn't there only a matter of time before they're caught?" Lucy asked, directing her question to the brains in the mission, Erza.

"That would be nice, if it happens." Erza placed her free hand on the green lever, along with the one which was previously there, she then fiddled with it, moving it forward, causing the car to start and begin to move.

The green vehicle flew around a corner, drifting back into course, "Erza, you're going too fast!" Gray spoke aloud from the roof of the car, "Look, the SE plug is inflating!"

Erza heard his words but didn't slow the magic- powered vehicle down, "If we let the flute be played, a great number of innocent people will be victims." The speed increased, "Just by hearing the sound, a person's life is stolen from them!"

"What are we supposed to do when we get there and you don't have any magical power left?" Gray asked out of concern and frustration.

"If that happens, then I'll fight with a stick if I have to." Erza smiled, "And you two are here too." She directed her words at Natsu and Gray.

Oshibana Station.

Black, ashy smoke rose from a building, a crowd gathering around it.

"Please stand back! There has been a train derailment, we can't let you into the station!" One of the workers at Oshibana station spoke into a megaphone, "Please stand back!" He spoke over the whispering crowd.

"You, what's the situation inside?" A hand was placed onto the worker's shoulder, the hand being covered by a metallic glove, it was Erza, "Who the heck are you?" The worker put the megaphone down slightly, moving it away from his mouth.

Erza grew an Irk mark and knocked the poor guy unconscious, moving away from him and toward another where she tried again, "What's the situation inside?"

Four human figures jogged through the halls of Oshibana Station, the blonde one known as Lucy had the pinkette, Natsu flung over her shoulder as she ran, Erza leading the pack while Gray followed, as for Beryl, she was falling behind, running behind Happy who was flying at the back of the group, Beryl hated running.

"An army platoon stormed in but it seems they haven't returned yet." Erza had a steady pace as she ran, "It's likely that they engaged Eisenwald in battle."
