Chapter 1; Derek's Camaro

The alarm clock in Leanna Hale's room went off and she clasped it with her hand, throwing it against the wall to stop the annoying sound. She turned over to the nightstand to look at her phone, which was blinking with a new text message. Anna sat up on the bed and grabbed her phone, unlocking it so she can read the message.

To: Leanna

From: Derek

Went looking for something in the woods. I left my keys on the table closest to the front door.

She furrowed her eyebrows, blinking a few times, her eyes going over the message again to make sure it was still there. Last time she checked, Derek didn't let anyone drive his Camaro except for himself. Leanna started typing really fast as she slowly stood up off the bed.

To: Derek

From: Leanna

Are you sure you want me to?

She bit her lip, regretting the question now. She should just go get dressed and take the god damn keys. Anna moved towards her closet, then stopped when her phone buzzed.

To:Leanna

From:Derek

Anna I swear if you scratch that car or damage it in any way, I will find you, rip your throat open with my teeth then kill myself.

The younger Hale rolled her eyes, a soft laugh coming from her as she pulled out some clothes. She pulled on a black tank top after she put her gray skinny jeans on. Anna picked up her leather jacket, putting it on and fixing the other lace on her combat boots. She grabbed her bag and walked out of her room, especially not forgetting Derek's keys to the Camaro.

Leanna pulled into a Beacon Hills High parking spot, turning off the engine and leaning back against the leather seats. She heard a car pull up next to her and looked out the windows to see who it was. After a few seconds of squinting, the Hale realized that the tinted windows did not help at all. She stepped out of the car, shutting the door a little more forcefully then she should have. Leanna let out an exaggerated sigh when she saw who it was. She walked around the bike racks as Jackass opened the front door of his Porsche as it ever so lightly hit one of the bikes.

"Watch out this is a paint job!" Jackson yelled to the shaggy haired boy. Anna turned around, walking backwards, to see who he was yelling at and it was Scott McCall. She turned back around and walked over to the school. Anna didn't really know that much about Scott, and she really didn't care about him. She walked up the steps of the school, glancing at a fidgeting Stiles. A small smile came across her lips and she paused in front of him for a few seconds.

"Hey Stiles." He looked away from Scott and over to her at the sound of his name.

"Hi Anna." Stiles said to her, sending a smile.

The two has known each other since third grade when she got a paper cut and he wanted to get a band-aid for her. The nine year old Hale tried to stop him, already have healed the second that it started.

Stiles looked towards Scott coming up the stairs and Leanna continued on. She paused again, this time near the door, hearing what Scott just said.

"Well I did hear a wolf howling last night when I got bit." She looked over at Stiles and Scott as they kept babbling on as Scott was describing where he had found half of a body. The smell had hit her just now and she didn't know how she didn't smell it when she walked by the damn boy. New werewolf in town, not exciting. Anna rolled her eyes and walked into the hellhole known as school.
