Four

Grayson's POV

"Rise and shine sleepy heads!" The blinds opened letting the sun shine into the room. I open one eye to see a figure looking out of the window with their hands on their hips.

"Ugh, mom please it's too early." I groan.

"Well, Melissa and Claudia are already downstairs eating breakfast. You all should go out today." My mom replies.

"Like where?"

"I don't know. The mall? Movies? Oh there's a carnival not far from here. Why don't you ask the girls what they want to do?"

"Alright fine." I groan while getting up. I pick out some clothes and head to the bathroom to get ready. When I was done, I go downstairs to eat and see what the plans are for the day. Melissa was the first to greet me.

"Morning Gray." She said with a smile. She's so gorgeous, and her smile makes me melt.

"Morning Melissa. How did you sleep?" I said smiling back.

"Pretty good. Had a weird dream though." She laughs.

"Oh what about?"

"I dreamt that you actually had feelings for me. How bizarre is that?" She laughs again. I felt my face heat up.

"Yeah. That's um pretty bizarre." I smile trying to make it look like I'm not hurt. I turn my back to her and start pouring myself some cereal. Claudia and Ethan walk into the kitchen laughing, I can tell they like each other. We aren't supposed to like our fake girlfriends. This is just for publicity, but Ethan and I were stupid for putting down what we actually wanted in a girl. We didn't think about the situation of us falling in love with them.

"Grayson." I was pulled out of my thoughts by Ethan. "The girls want to know what we're doing today."

"Oh uhh, my mom suggested we go to this carnival that isn't too far from here. If you guys want to, it's up to you." I shrug.

Claudia gasps, "A carnival?! I love carnivals!"

"Then we'll go." Ethan said smiling at her.

"Come on Melissa, lets go get our stuff!" Claudia pulled her up the stairs and into the room.

"Dude, you have to stop." I told Ethan.

"Stop what?"

"You're falling for Claudia, and you're not supposed to."

"Dude no I'm not. It's a joke I'm just playing around with her." I look at him with confusion. "You know... she starts to think I like her. Tour ends and then I ghost her." I finally got what he was saying, and honestly it pissed me off.

"Dude why would you do that to her? You know she likes you right?"

"Yeah, that's what makes this better." He chuckles. "She's so clingy and annoying. I thought Sean said he found the perfect girl but he's way off of what I wrote down." I shake my head at him.

"He found her for you so you wouldn't fall in love. That's the point of it. Not to fuck with her feelings."

"Ok but how come you're in love with Melissa?"

"I can't help who I fall for." The girls come back down the stairs.

"We're ready!" Claudia said excitedly. She extends her hand out for Ethan to take. She smiles when he takes it and squeezes it pretty hard, hard enough for him to wince. Claudia pulls E out of the house and leaves Melissa and I behind. I look at Melissa and her face has a mix of emotions. She looks upset but yet happy and I wonder why. Mel smiles at me and holds out her hand. I grab my keys and intertwine our fingers together and walk out of the house.
