"Are you two almost done yet?!" Kakashi snapped "You say you want to rescue Sasuke but at the pace you're going I think you two are lying! How can you bring him back if you can't even beat my clones without dirty tricks like ruining plot finales?!"
"I'm trying okay, Kakashi sensei?! You're way stronger than Sasuke anyway 'ttebayo!!" Naruto panted.
Sweat was dripping down his body and he was littered with cuts and bruises, his feisty, pink haired teammate wasn't faring any better either. As two perfect copies of their sensei stood either side of them.
"I wouldn't be to sure about that, Naruto. Tsunade-shishou said to me that Sasuke is closer in terms of power to Orochimaru than Kakashi-sensei now, which means that he's now stronger than him" Sakura managed to get out
"Whaaat?!even granny Tsunade?!"
"Exactly and if you can beat my clones then how are you ever going to be able to be strong enough to bring him back alive?"
"I'll find away somehow 'ttebayo. After all I never go back on my word, that's my nindō. My ninja way!" Suddenly his knees buckled and his legs gave way as he collapsed onto the floor.
Sakura looked down at him in exasperation "He still doesn't know what the term 'overwork' means does he?" She said to Kakashi as she slung her teammates unconscious form over her shoulder.
"No he doesn't, and I don't think he ever will" Kakashi sighed
"Well I don't think you know what the phrase 'do something' means, let alone 'overwork'"
"You have such a sharp tongue as always, Sakura"
"I try. Anyway, I'm dumping this idiot in front of his house and then heading home. I'm in no mood for anymore training today."
"About that, Sakura I need to talk to yo-"
"Let me guess. For the pass few years you've noticed that I haven't been ohhh Sasuke-kun this and that and we need to bring Sasuke-kun back! I love him sooo much! Well you know what?? I don't feel like answering that, so if you'll excuse me. Goodnight."
And with that she dragged Naruto off back to his apartment.

"You managed to evade his questions again?!"
"Yeah"
"Way to go, brat"
Thanks, Zetsu-san" she smiled at the plant-man next to her
"I never know what you're thinking, but I know your facial expressions like I know how to eat a person. And that that face spells trouble"
"I don't know what you mean Zetsu-san"
"Cut the crap kid, For someone like us who've known you for years andYEARS it's pretty obvious"
She sighed in obvious defeat "Fine, I'll tell you. But you can't tell anyone, not now. Not ever."
"Since when have I ever, who do you think you're talking to, besides I don't really talk to anyone else do I?"
"Sorry, Zetsu-san"
"It's fine. So are you going to tell us now??"
"I'm going home to pack,"
"Hmmm so like a mysterious journey into the great unknown?"
"You could call it that"
"What?! I was just joking but that's what you're really doing?!"
"Yup. I'm leaving Konoha"
"You'd go this far for Uchiha Sasuke? Honestly that duckass isn't worth it."
"This isn't for him, this is for me" she gazed at Konohas village gates in the distance "at this point I don't really think Konoha is an option for me"
The man made out of plant sighed "If you say so, but was it ever really an option??"
"I suppose not" she stopped walking "this is my house, I'll contact you sometime in the near future. Okay?"
"You got it, brat" he said as he sunk into the ground.
She chuckled "Goodnight Zetsu-san" and walked inside her apartment

Tsunade was actually relieved when Sakura didn't show up for work the next day, since she had been working to hard and to seriously. So she had indeed deserved a break. However when Sakura didn't show up for work on the second day the sannin began to get worried.
This wasn't like Sakura. What was she up to?
The third day of her disappearance Tsunade got so worried she personally went with a team of ANBU to break down her front door to demand were she was.
Their shock couldn't be described when they saw the apartment clean with all clothes, photos and possessions that weren't furniture gone. With Sakura herself nowhere to be seen.
When the Konoha 12 heard the news she was missing none of the believed it because Sakura would never leave I mean 'cmon it was Sakura she would never do something like that. Would she?
But as the weeks bled past they were slowly forced to acknowledge the truth. Ino went into a frenzy somewhere between hysterical sobbing and rage, Naruto shut himself in his apartment where not even Shikamaru could get him out, Hinata started sobbing in the middle of the streets and Lee actually stopped harping on about youth and lost his energy for a whole week.
Kakashi, well Kakashi just felt hollow and empty. Two students two. It was bad enough to fail one. But two. The three fates must be spinning his fate with barbed wire instead of string.
What had they done to cause this to happen.
A/N: phew! First proper chapter finished! How'd I do? I know it's proba going to look horrible- but I try TT^TT. Anyway, I just want to thank all of you for your patience and support, all of you really give me a boost and the energy to keep on writing!
