   It's been over 20 years since me and my friends saved the world from the burning hands of Firelord Ozai. After Ozai's dethronement, his son prince Zuko took back his destiny and become Firelord and brought back honor to his nation. It was then that Aang (the Avatar) and Firelord Zuko went around trying to bring back the four nations but shortly after realizing they couldn't bring back what was they decided to create a united city and call it Republic City to bring the four nations into one.

   I moved to Republic City to enforce laws and to spread metalbending best way possible and it was there that I and my husband, Satoru, got married. We had a our first child, Lin, shortly afterward. She's an earthbender and a beautiful girl but sadly duty calls so I don't have much time for her. So my good friend ,Katara, babysits her alongside her own kids her till Satoru gets home.

   One day at work we got a report of a mugging at a machine factory downtown, immediately my thoughts race because Satoru works at a machine factory downtown. On the way there I start to recognize the location and I start to get frantic but tell myself to calm down on the job, and that Satoru is safe. We handle the case swiftly and caught the criminals and take them back to the police station. With no report of injured or casualties, I decided it was safe to leave and talk with Saturo about this when he gets home tonight.

   Before I could get going too and leave the rest to investigate, a woman had walked up to me and said "Cheif Bei Fong, you have to come and see this it's important" so I said okay and followed. It was reported that they found three people who were injured and one was dead. She led me down the hallway, the walls was completely white and the floor was in black and white tiles. She then toke a right and so did I, the hallway here was the same as the last one expect for a door on the right which led to the crime scene. Before I entered I asked "Why are you taking me in there? I've already been there" the woman sighed and replied "Sorry" in a hushed tone to low to hear unless you were next to her.

   We entered the room and toke me to the spot where the man was killed. I was a couple feet away when i realized who it was, why didn't i notice this before? What's wrong with me? I could feel everyone looking at me but all I could do was stand in shock. What will I tell Lin? She will be devastated once she finds out. I can't believe it, Satoru was killed.
