Kristina's POV,
My lungs burned as I gasped for breath. My legs ached from the endless running and my hands were clammy with sweat. I'm pretty sure I stank to, my clothes stuck to my body like a second skin and i'd abandoned my shoes halfway as they were to uncomfortable to run in.
But I had to keep going.
I couldn't let them find me- I wouldn't let them take me pack to that place. I'd rather die than go back to them, to him.
-------
I ran for what seemed like forever. But it was only about 20 minutes. Don't judge- the pack thought I was unworthy of training, I'm pretty out of shape.
I ran over the border and felt the bond between me and my pack weaken. I hoped they didn't feel my absence- they'd start looking. I did congratulate myself though, I'd made it past the border; I was free. Sighing I dumped my bag on the floor and rested against a tree. I slowly slid down to my feet, feeling the sharp branches dig into my skin only made me more aware of where I was and what I was doing. But, oddly it comforted it me.
It reminded me of home.
--------
I woke up in a unfamiliar room. I tried to stand but I felt a burning pain around my wrists. Silver.
Shit.
Silver is like a werewolf's kryptonite, it can be extremely harmful to our skin- causing bleeding, infection etc.
But the problem at hand. How the hell did I end up chained to a wall, with new clothes on and no idea where the hell I was.
Beats me.
A/N
