It's been two weeks since our unexpected meeting at the riverside. By tomorrow, l'll have no choice but to go to school because duh it's the first day of first term.

I'm not excited... well, a bit? I don't expect anything. I'm not interested in making friends, either. Nah, I'm kidding. I want to have a kawaii friend so I can squeeze her anytime I want. *_*

I decided to sleep early so I can wake up early as well. I don't want to be late on first day.

----

"Mom, you know alarms doesn't work on me. Why didn't you wake me up?" I said in a very problematic tone while putting jam on my toast.

"Your room is locked. I thought you're taking a bath. Honey, It's your fault." She said calmly and gave dad his cup of coffee.

"You won't be able to have friends if you make that kind of face. You're prettier when you smile, Honey." dad said while looking at the newspaper.

"Come on, dad. I'm pretty no matter what." I pouted.

"We know that. Now, leave. You're late. See?" mom said pointing at the wall clock.

"Omg! See you later. I love you both! Take care!" I told my parents and rush outside. God it's so cold!

I have no choice but to run and walk. I don't want to be late. I stopped by the vending machine to buy milk because I hella need it. I continued to run but then, I knew, I have to stop.

"Which way is my school?" I asked myself, confused. I forgot. Actually, I've never been there. When we moved, it is mom who enrolled me to that school. How can I be so stupid? Ugh I can't believe myself! This is definitely the stupidest situation I've ever been. Can anyone please save me from my stupidity?

No good. I guess I have to skip class today. I'll go straight home when I think dad and mom left already. I slightly bowed my head and finished off my milk.

In my peripheral vision, I saw a guy walk passed me. I looked at him and saw that he has someone with him. Their uniform is the same color as mine. Maybe, just maybe, they go to Iwatobi as well. They might be my savior!

"Excuse me" I said loudly so they can hear. Luckily, they do. They stopped walking and looked at me. The taller guy smiled. He's such a cutie! Oh stop, Ritsu. We'll have time for that but not now. The other one wears a so called poker face.

"What is it?" the taller guy asked.

"Uhhmm... uhh.. by any chance, do you guys study in Iwatobi as well?" I asked.

"We do", the taller guy answered still smiling.

"Can I come with you? T-that's if you don't mind", I smiled awkwardly.

"Sure", the taller guy said again. I smiled widely and joined them.

"It's not like I don't want to, but why did you want to walk with us, anyway?" the taller guy approached after a while.

"Oh that... errr.. I don't know where the school is. Stupid, right?" I faked a laugh. The taller taller guy laughed as well as if he couldn't believe it which made me feel more embarrased.

"By the way, I'm Makoto Tachibana and this is Haruka Nanase", he points his finger to the guy next to him, "We're third year. Nice meeting you", he added after recovering from what I said earlier.

"Nice meeting you, too! I'm Ritsu Ozaki, second year. I'm a transfer student so really, I'm not kidding when I said I don't know the way to school." I smiled. I thought that Makoto-san gives off a brotherly aura, and I like it. He seems so kind and gentle. On the contrary, Haru-san seems to have a thick wall surrounding him. He doesn't talk much unless you asked him something but he'll answer in one or two word.
